2. Audience…
Earlier in our research we had to conduct a survey to find
out more about the audience we could attract with our
film. We found from this that our audience would be
mainly males aged 16-20. Our research also told us that
our audience also usually watched films that had 15 and
18 BBFC certificates. This told us that we could include
things such as a strong threat and horror, Violence may
be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or
injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be
acceptable. Strong sadistic violence is also unlikely to be
acceptable. There may be detailed verbal references to
sexual violence but the depiction of sexual violence must
be discreet and justified by context.
