Noncommunicable diseases are illnesses that cannot be spread from person to person and are not caused by pathogens. Some examples of noncommunicable diseases include asthma, emphysema, cardiovascular disease, and atherosclerosis. The main causes of noncommunicable diseases are heredity, environment, and behavior.

1. allergy - a harmful reaction to certain substances.
2. noncommunicable disease - an illness that cannot

wheezing.
4. emphysema - a disease of the lungs in which air
sacs are damaged.
5. cardiovascular disease - a disease of the heart of
blood vessels.
6. atherosclerosis - a disease in which fatty
substances build up on the inside walls of arteries.
7. cancer - the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells.
