Summary
I am a competent IT worker with 15 years’ experience of support work in a technical IT role. I was solely in charge of all IT
and office equipment within a Company of 100 plus employees in the UK, France and Germany. I am looking to continue
within this area as it has not only been my job for this time but also a hobby and interest. I am extremely technical minded
and if I am unsure of anything I will ensure that I find out. I am a helpful individual and never mind going above and
beyond my role to assist others where needed. I always give 100% in my working day and am looking for the opportunity
to show my skills within a similar Support role.

Managing Desktop and Laptops for the whole company (9 departments), this includes off site workers in UK, France and
Germany. Network Maintenance when required. Adding new users to domain and removing inactive users. Purchasing
suitable equipment i.e. Desktop, monitors, printers, and laptops, configuring desktop and laptops using XP, Win7, Win 8.1.
Configuring mobiles phones and Tablets for email collection and calendar synchronisation. Some Apple Mac configuration.
Maintaining and network and internet connectivity. Maintaining and configuring internal telephone system for all company
departments. Installing and configuring software, using specific software for use in sales department. We used 3rd
party IT
Companies for Server Hardware maintenance and server operating system/server configuration maintenance.
Main Duties
 Adding new users to domain
 Removing closed or inactive users from domain
 Setting up VPN for offsite users
 Assisting remote/off site users (out of hours when required)
 Setting up desktops/laptops/printers (off domain and on domain)
 Maintenance/upgrade to desktops/laptops
 Internal telephone system using call centre software
 Configuring Mobile phones/iPads for offsite/onsite users)
 Office logistics (checking network etc. for office/user movement)

Quality Control ensuring products are made to the correct specification. Checking and calibrating measuring equipment,
ensuring British standard procedures are followed.
