JEWELRY PARTY TOMORROW The Secret Heart Sisters ministry is excited to
support Women at Risk by hosing a Jewelry Party at church tomorrow evening at
6:30 p.m. There will be a speaker at 6:30 to tell about their program and how they
are helping women and children at risk. A variety of items that the women have
made will be available for purchase, such as jewelry, scarves, ornaments, purses,
etc. It’s a great time to pick up some Mother’s Day gifts while supporting this
women’s program. Invite your friends to attend with you! If you have questions,
contact Lisa Kimbel or Connie Bean.
3 G’s THIS FRIDAY God’s Gifted Gals will be meeting this Friday, May 12 at
6:30 p.m. We’re taking the summer off so this will be the last group until Sept.
It will be “Walking Taco” night & everything is provided. Plan to come for great food,
fellowship and crafts! If you have questions, contact Kari DeBoer at 566-2364.
CHILD PROTECTION SEMINAR If you help with or would like to help with any
Parkside’s children's ministries (youth group, children’s church, nursery, Pioneer
Clubs, Kids Games, etc.) and have not yet completed the required Protection
Seminar, please plan to attend this one-hour class held at 6:30 p.m. on Wed.,
May 17. Please sign up on the form at the Children’s Ministry Counter.
LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT Join other church ladies and friends for dinner
at South Side Inn on 35th Street, just off of Washington on Friday, May 19, at 5:30
p.m. Then come back to the church for simple board games and snacks. This is a
great time to get to know some of the church women in a very casual and fun
atmosphere. Sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter.

FAMILY BIBLE HOUR SCHEDULE
The last class for both children’s and adult Family Bible Hour will be May 21
as there will be no closing ceremony this year. Join us on Sunday mornings
for 2 more weeks for our infant–adult classes at 9:30 a.m. Adult class
offerings include “Keeping Your Financial Boat Afloat” in room A-3, “Explore
the Book” in room S-1, “In the Dust of the Rabbi” in room A-2, “The Grace By
Which We Stand” in room A-1, “How Do We Study the Bible?” for women in
room F-1, and “The Gathering” for high school-age 30 in room F-2.

In preparation for Grad Sunday, please let Tyler Cook or the church office
know if you are graduating from high school or college this year.
CHURCH PANTRY
For the month of May, we’re collecting “Cleaning Products” for
our church pantry. This would include items such as all-purpose
cleaner, dish soap, laundry soap, antibacterial wipes, etc. The drop off
box is in the Fellowship Hall by the Children’s Ministry Counter.
NAMETAG MONTH! All regular attendees have nametags in their mail slots.
For the month of May, we would like ALL ADULTS to wear their nametags
on Sunday! We have many new people in church who would like to get
to know you so please introduce yourself to someone you don’t know!
NEWCOMERS: If you don’t have a nametag, please make one.
Nametags are available on the cart next to the mail slots to the right
as you enter the church. Sign up for future nametags!
LIFT EVENT (Ladies in Fellowship Together)
As we wrap up LIFT for the season, we would like to invite the ladies to
join us on Thursday, May 25, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We will be spending
time together and cultivating the relationships we have built this past
year. Come ready to get your hands dirty and bring gardening gloves
if you so desire. Please sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter by
May 21 to ensure that we have enough supplies.

LIFE LINE SCREENING AT PARKSIDE!
Parkside Bible Church will be offering Life line Screening at
the church on Thursday, June 8. Five screenings will be
offered that scan for potential health problems:

Together!
Summer is approaching and many events are coming to an end.
However, THIS summer, we have something NEW for YOU! If you
are between the ages of 12-29, we want to invite you to join us
Sunday nights, twice a month for a night of worship. Starting on
June 11, we will be gathering with people from all over West
Michigan to worship together. These will be nights you will not
want to miss…Nights that you will never forget…Nights that will
leave you wanting more…Nights where you will have a chance to
connect with God in a new way. Let’s come and Worship Together!
