spreading coronavirus. The following guidance will help
child care providers, preschool providers, and schools
offering care, to manage health and safety precautions
and social distancing orders.
The Government closed all schools or childcare centers
throughout most of the states at the end of the school
year to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.

If your childcare centres remain open - Child care programs that
remain open during the COVID-19 pandemic should follow these
precautions consider:

• Promote the signs and symptoms of COVID-19:
• fever, cough, shortness of breath for awareness.
• Sanitize that are alternatively touched – things such as shared desks,

• Stay up to date on cleanness and safe in your community.
• Create an emergency action for a possible outbreak.

least 60% alcohol and kept out of the reach of children.
Parents should use their own pens when signing in. If check-in is

screens or keyboards alternative.
Recommend families have the same adult drop off and pick up the child
each day.
Should take turns with drop-off and pick-up times. This will help with
social distancing outside or in front of the facility.

9. If Children, Staff, or Parents Suspect
the Signs of COVID-19
If a child or school staff signed of COVID-19, like a fever of
100.4 or higher, cough, cold, or problem of breath, place the
person in a room away or quarantine them from the well
people until the sick person can leave the facility. If signs
are proven, call health care workers for more guidance. Tell
the staff or child’s parent or caretaker to inform the facility
right away if the person is suspected with COVID-19.
If a child or staff workers tests positive for COVID-19, all members of the
suspected child’s or adult’s group is close contact and should self-quarantine for
14 days.
