A survey was conducted about music video preferences. Most respondents preferred pop music to other genres like metal or classical. All respondents said they enjoyed romantic pop music videos. The most popular setting for a music video was a garden or lake, chosen by 64% of respondents. Nearly half watched romantic movies on a weekly basis, while 18% watched daily or monthly and 18% yearly. Most respondents preferred romantic, soft, and magical music in pop videos. The preferred ending was happy, chosen by 55% of respondents, while 27% preferred sad endings and 18% confusing endings.
