Practice photos
1.
2. In the creation of my digipak and advert I took photographs in
contribution to my work. In the process I had to take several
practise pictures in order to pick out the good ones which could
go onto my work. Lots of the pictures were either out of focus or
the models weren’t in the right positioning. It was helpful to take
more photos than needed because it takes the models along
time to get comfortable in front of the camera so practice ones
were needed. Also, by the end I found that I had more than
enough photos too chose from which made it easier for me to
choose because I wasn’t limited to a small amount of photos.
When choosing my final photographs for my work I had to take
into consideration of the colours that would be used when editing
and adding affects. Several times I had to change the photograph
because there was too much white space in the background
which stood out to much with an affect over the top of the photo.
I aimed to take as many photos as possible in lots of different
stances, with several clothing changes and ensuring that the
photos included different models together. For example I was
able to capture photos of all of them on their own as well as all
together or just two of them.
I wanted to the photos to be taken with the models standing in
different positions in order to have a wider range of differential
pictures so that the photos on my work don’t all look the same.
The idea of Megan spinning around caught on the camera was an
idea that I liked a lot as it was a different type of photo and it took
time to get the photo right so that in the end I was able to pull off
an effective digipak advert.
