The document lists equipment that will be used to film a music video, including a Canon SLR camera for the majority of filming. Teenage characters will be depicted using bubbles and wearing Converse sneakers to relate to the target teenage audience. An iPhone 6 Plus will also be used for convenient high-definition filming. Professional lighting and a white backdrop will be used to film the band in a studio setting against a plain background. Typical instruments seen in indie music videos, like guitar, keyboard, and drums, will also be featured.

2. Cannon SLR Camera
The majority of my music video would be filmed by the
Cannon SLR camera.

3. Teenage conventions
Teenagers are half kids – half adults.
To fit this representation I’m going to use bubbles for the
childish persona of the characters.
Converse is typically worn by the majority of teenagers on a daily basis. To make the
teenaged target audience relate to the mise-en-scene, converse would be ideally worn
by the characters.

4. iPhone 6 Plus
The majority of ‘Cool Kids’ would be filmed by the Cannon SLR but when it is convenient I
would use my iPhone as it records
in high definition. Therefore, I would not lose
any footage when the Cannon SLR isn’t with me.

5. Lighting and Studio
When I evoke band images, the band would be in the studio with professional lighting
and a white screen would be the back drop to make them stand out in the video.

6. Instruments
Most indie music video conveys repeated band imagery of them lip syncing and
playing instruments in a studio.
The guitar, keyboard and drums are typical instruments used in indie music videos.
