Hugh Hefner died on September 22. It was shortly after that that the Harvey
Weinstein issue arose and we began to see a judgment upon those who
have been involved in sexual indiscretions. Entertainment, media and
government brought to account for indiscretions. Careers were destroyed.
Fires began to sweep across areas where most major Hollywood
entertainers and influencers lived.

1. Poverty
– Children in father-absent homes are almost four times
more likely to be poor. In 2011, 12 percent of children in
married-couple families were living in poverty, compared
to 44 percent of children in mother-only families.

father figure found that children living with married biological parents had
significantly fewer externalizing and internalizing behavioral problems than
children living with at least one non-biological parent.

history on Feb. 7, 1991 when it aired
the first-ever same-sex kiss on
television. Characters CJ Lamb, a
bisexual lawyer played by Amanda
Donohoe, and Abby Perkins, a
straight lawyer played by Michele
Greene, shared the historic kiss, but
the relationship went nowhere and
both characters eventually left the
show. The episode caused some
controversy, as a few sponsors
pulled their ads from the show, but
history had been made.

Dollars Away from Abortion
May 18, 2018 -Under President Trump's rule announced today, like
Reagan's, Planned Parenthood and other abortion centers will have to
choose between dropping their abortion services from any location that
gets family planning dollars and moving those abortion operations offsite.
Either way, this will loosen Planned Parenthood's grip on more than $60
million in taxpayer dollars. The new regulations will draw a bright line
between abortion centers and family planning programs -- just as the
federal law requires and the Supreme Court upheld in a 1991 ruling.
