integral part of the teaching
Guiding principles in the Assessment of Learning:
Teachers teach with a certain objective
to attain. After the lesson is taught, it is
logical to find out how well the lesson
objective is attained, thus assessment is
used.

3. Assessment tool should match
with performance objective
Which instrument to use, which
test formulate must be based on
the performance objective.

3 The results of assessment must be
fed back to the learners
If the main purpose of assessment is to find out how
well the learner has attained a particular learning
objective, the assessment process serves its purpose
only when we returned corrected quizzes, tests,
seat works, assignments, and evaluate projects the
soonest time possible.

5. In assessing learning, teachers
must consider learners’ learning
styles and multiple intelligences
and so must come up with a
variety of ways of assessing
learning.

must be abandoned.
