What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing
this product?
Video editing software:
LiveType - software program used to create animated title sequences for
video products
iMoive - proprietary video editing software allows for user to edit titles,
videos, music, photos and effects
Adobe After Effects – this program allows the user to add special effects to
a video
Adobe Premiere Pro – timeline based video editing software application
Recording Hardware:
Sennheiser Long Microphone – used to record sound and allows
for outside use, however external equipment is needed to record
and save audio files to a device
Zoom H1 Handheld Mircophone - the quality of recording from this
device is not as good as the Sennheiser microphone but it comes with
its own data storage device, therefore connecting this device to the
Sennheiser allows for good quality sound and storage space
Sony HDRSR8 Handheld Video Camera – the camera allows for the digital
recording of the shots, that will be later merged together through editing
software in order to create the film opening
Online Software:
Prezi – presentation software for presenting ideas or laying out
information on a virtual canvas
SlideShare – web based slide hosting service, allows users to upload files
created on such files as PowerPoint, Microsoft word, PDF, Keynote

2. Other software used:
Microsoft Word – allows for the creation of text documents,
pictures and tables can be added
Microsoft PowerPoint – designed to create electronic
presentations consisting of a series of separate pages or slides
Microsoft Excel – allows for information to be laid out in table form
features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables
Adobe Photoshop – graphics editing software, allows users to
manipulate, crop, resize, and correct color on digital photos
Final Evaluation:
Each of these technologies have different functions , although some of them may
seem like they do a similar job, once used more in depth the differences between
them will become more apparent.
