3. New skills I have developed from creating
the website:
One of the most important aspects about this project was developing our
ICT skills through the two different software's we used. I developed a
number of different skills whilst creating my website. It was the first time I
had set-up a website and so the software was new to me. One of the most
important skills I learned from creating a website was how to lay it out in a
sophisticated and inventive way that would be engaging for year 9 students.
I fulfilled this by adding a slide-show of photos, showing a variety of medias
in my work and by adding pages with text and visual imagery. I also created
a banner for my website and used different shapes to make my website look
more aesthetically pleasing. I have also learned how to upload a video to
YouTube.

5. New skills I have developed from creating
the movie:
I have learned many knew skills through using imovie. One of the most
significant skills I have developed is how to add transitions making the
fluidity of the movie nicer for the audience. The exploration of themes was
also something I learned and something I never knew you could use before
experimenting with different layouts and themes for example I used the
journal theme to make my movie more engaging for year 9 students. I also
learned how to import movies and pictures into imovie and how to cut and
crop them to fit the movie. I added music behind the movie and I learned
how to change the loudness of the the background music to fit the movies I
put in the movie.

8. Originality and Creativity through my
theme:
A lot of the originality ad creativity of my project comes from my overall
theme and concept of my project. The concept of my project was to create a
movie and website inspiring year 9 students to take drama, including all the
details about what year 11 GCSE drama consists of. The idea was extremely
original and creative selecting a topic that involves a range of media,
including the capability to use videos and photos to show year 9s in a visual
perspective of the year 11 course.

Why did I choose the layout for my website?
My website is packed with creative and original concepts, sophisticated
themes and a range of original media forms. For my website I have used the
online website builder, Wix. I chose to use this website builder to help me
create my website as it had a number of interesting tools on it, allowing me
to make my website eye-catching and sophisticated. It was also relatively
easy to navigate and understand, which was extremely important for me as
it was the first time I had created an official website.

Why Did I choose the software Imovie?
My movie is filled with creativity and originality. I used imovie as my
software to help create my website. I chose imovie to make my video with
because of its wide variety of themes, transitionsand its variety of tool
which helped make my project unique and different.

Overall I am extremely happy with how my ICT project has turned out for my
movie. It includes a range of different shots, which help to make my movie more
sophisticated.
I have successfully fulfilled all my aims and objectives.
-I have included footage that has been filmed using a tripod to help make the
video stable.
-I have also used themes and transitions to help make my project more
aesthetically pleasing and engaging.
-Lastly I have managed to make my project engaging by using different themes and
by including real footage of the year 11 GCSE Drama course.

I have managed to successfully fulfill all my aims and objectives for my
website. I have created a sophisticated website, which includes a gallery
which has a slide show in it and I have incorporated a page with a forum and
a submission form for parents and students to ask questions etc.

Yes I personally feel I have created a sophisticated website which will ultimately help year 9s
students choose whether to take Drama as one of their GCSE subjects.

The main purpose behind my website is to create a website which will inspire and encourage
year 9s to take drama as one of their GCSE subjects,
Rate how the quality of the website is done
On a scale of 1-10, 1 being the highest I would rate my project at a level 2, as there were
some areas I could have improved on to further help year 9s see the Drama GCSE course.

I personally do feel I have produced an engaging movie for the year 9s. I have successfully done this through the
the use of different themes and transitions. By also including video footage I have also managed to show the
year 9s exactly what we, as year 11s do.

Yes I feel I have incorporated footage which has been filmed with a tripod to keep it steady and I have altered
the sound to fit the movie
Have I established a movie that will inspire the year 9s?
I personally feel I have created a movie that will inspire the year 9s. The positive feedback from peers is
evidence of this and I feel that with the different themes, backgrounds and footage it will inspire the year 9s
to take drama as one of their GCSE drama subjects.
