1. Costumes, Actors and Props
UPDATED: I changed my actor so it meant that I had to change the clothes that they wore
and the type of props that they used.
Actors
- Within my opening there are only two actors.
- The first actor: A friend. I young boy who is aged about 16/17. I needed an actor
who was younger so they can link with the younger generation and will create an
emotional attachment. I also needed it so that the story would make more sense and
the plot line would flow because the idea behind my film is that he has been bullied
and is leaving home as the bullies have found him again. I will name my actor James
as it is a young name to fit the actor.
Costumes
- My main actor ‘James’ will wear black
jeans with a grey hoodie and a black coat. I
will have the actor put their hood up to
look scared and intimidating. I want to
make it look like he is scared and feel
intimidated by what has happened in the
past. He should look scared and worried
about the future.
- The image is of a girl but it will be a male actor wearing similar clothes.
Props
- The props I require in my opening will be a piece of paper
with writing on it for the letter that ‘James’ will be writing
and an envelope for it to be posted.
- The last prop is part of costume. My actor ‘James’ will
have a black ruck sack on his back to show that he is
going away and that he has packed his clothes and is
leaving. It will seem more believable that he is going away
and it will be a mystery to what is in there.
