2. • The Natural Park of Delta de
l’Ebro is located on the
region of Montsia at the
river mouth Ebro.

4. THE WILDLIFE
• The Ebro Delta is a paradise for all migratory birds and
brings together some of the breeding colonies of the
most important seabirds in the Mediterranean.
5. THE VEGETATION
• The most common plants are: the white
nymphaea, the cakile maritima, sosa de flor,
boves, sisques bordes...
6. • All these animals live in ponds
and springs.

8. • The Ebro Delta basically
cultivates rice. Practically all the
extension is covered by rice
fields.
9. • It is also very important crops
fruits (especially citrus fruits) and
vegetables.
10. GASTRONOMY
• The local cuisine is rich and
varied and take advantage of the
abundant natural resources of
the delta (hunting, fishing,
agriculture).

Delta are: the black rice, the
rice a banda, the fideuà, the
frog legs, eel in juice, wild
duck...
