24. The most valuable result – learning to
understand each other
Learn to cooperate from childhood

“Kraplunki" introduce children
to group activities. Through this
they learn to work and create
together
A simple game helps to teach
child to be polite
25. Findings and results
• Taking together children from different locations contributed
to the development of the community and the club
“Kraplynka”
• The "Cossack Games" at Mezhyhirya in the summer made it
possible to study Ukrainian traditions and diversify the
activities:
- creative activities;
- outdoor physical activities;
- learning Ukrainian history, costumes, involve children into
productive work
• Yachting served as new activity and made it possible to bring together
all the children from Mezhygirya , Vyshgorod and Dymer that
Kraplznka works
• Cooperation with different NGOs allowed to create larger scale
projects with significant potential
26. Why do Internally Displaced People need
further support?
Ukraine has 227 000 children-IDPs
Kyiv oblast is 4th region in Ukraine by the number of IDPs
State financial support for children is provided to IDPs only for a
period on 6 month and amounts to EUR 35 per month.
45% IDPs report that state financial support is only sufficient to
buy food
For 59% of IDPs social assistance is the main source of income
Kraplynka’s activities help
children overcome being
victims and grow up being
responsible members of the
democratic society
27. • To continue developing and holding classes for children in
Mykolayiv, Dymer and Kyiv
• Conduct "Cossack Games“ in the summer again
