4. ➔ We have laundry machines. You don’t need to bring everything you’ve ever worn.
Bring summer/fall clothes at the beginning of the year, fall/winter clothes in the
middle of the year, and spring/summer clothes at the end of the year.
➔ We have bookstores, Amazon, and Walmart. You’ll find that you use
significantly fewer school supplies than you anticipate, so leave it at home.
➔ You’re not really going to eat that. While small snacks are fine, we see tons of
unopened food thrown away or donated at the end of each school year. Save yourself
the hassle and get snacks once you’re here.
➔ Don’t throw it out. You’ll regret throwing those boxes away when you need them
for move out. Send them home so you can use them at the end of the year.
➔ You live with someone else. Make sure you talk to your roommate about who
is bringing what so you don’t have double the items.
