 1a: In your group, identify the potential risks
involved with Ki o Rahi (at least three for each
category). The categories are: People,
equipment, environment (5 mins)
 1b: For each risk, develop strategies to manage
these in a way that protects the physical and
emotional safety of participants (5 mins)

yesterday. Have a look at the Hellison’s
model and think about what level you were
performing at.
 For each member of the group, list the level
you performed at and briefly justify why. (5
mins)
 Eg: Condo: Level 0 because I got angry and
swore at the teacher. Then I got in a fight with
Jim.

7.  3a: Come up with 5 specific actions or
behaviours to improve the level of social
responsibility in your group (5 mins)

8.  4a: Explain how you could manage the
following group situations so the influence on
peoples social well being was a positive one:
 i) a group member not wanting to do
something everyone else in the group was
 ii) a group member undermining the leaders
authority
 iii) a group member harassing another
member of the group
