 Drupal is a web development framework
broadly used as a platform to build a broad
    range of web application
 The project’s principles encourage
    modularity, standards, collaboration, ease
    of use, and more
 Drupal provides a wide variety of useful
tools for educators. For the instructor, Drupal
can serve as a blogging Platform, allowing

 Moodle is an Open Source Management
System (CMS), also known as a Learning
Management System (LMS) or a Virtual
  Learning Environment (VLE).
 The focus of the moodle project is
always on giving educators the best
tools to manage and promote learning.
 Moodle has features that allow it to scale to very large
deployments and hundreds of thousands of students, yet it
can also be used for a primary school or an education
  hobbyist.
 Many institutions use it as their platform to conduct fully
online courses, while some use it simply to augment face-
to-face courses (known as blended learning).
 Many of our users love to use the activity modules (such as
forums, databases and wikis) to build richly collaborative
communities of learning around their subject matter (in the
social constructionist tradition), while others prefer to use
Moodle as a way to deliver content to students (such as
standard SCORM packages) and assess learning using
  assignments or quizzes.

COMPUTER SYSTEM
Computer system is an electronic
network that consists of software
and hardware which is performs a
specific task (to receive input, to
process the input, to keep the
commandments, and to provide
output in the form of information).
Moreover, it can also be interpreted
as elements to running an activity
using a computer. Computers can
assist humans in their daily work,
such as: word processing, number
processing, and image processing.
Computer system elements composed of:
•Human as brainware
•Software
•Instruction set; and
•Hardware (hardware).
HARDWARE
Computer hardware are all part of the physical computer,
distinguished by:
The data in it or who operate in it
The software that provides instructions for the hardware to
complete its task.

                         Some examples of computer hardware
                         are: CPU, RAM, power supply,
                         monitor, hard disk, etc.
SOFTWARE

Computer software, or just software, is a collection of
computer programs and related data that provides the instructions
for telling a computer what to do and how to do it. Software refers to
one or more computer programs and data held in the storage of the
computer for some purposes. In other words, software is a set of
programs, procedures, algorithms and its documentation concerned
with the operation of a data processing system. Program software
performs the function of the program it implements, either by
directly providing instructions to the computer hardware or by
serving as input to another piece of software. The term was coined
to contrast to the old term hardware (meaning physical devices). In
contrast to hardware, software "cannot be touched". Software is
also sometimes used in a more narrow sense, meaning
application software only. Sometimes the term includes data that
has not traditionally been associated with computers, such as film,
tapes, and records.
Practical computer systems divide
software systems into three major classes, those
are:
•system software
•programming software;and
•application software

A person who creates software is called a
programmer/ software engineer/
software developer.
System software
System software is computer software designed to operate the
computer hardware to provide basic functionality and to provide a
platform for running application software. System software includes
device drivers, operating systems, servers, utilities, and
window systems.
 System software

platform for running application software. System software includes
device drivers, operating systems, servers, utilities, and
 window systems.
 Application software
Application software is developed to perform in any task that
benefits from computation. It is a set of programs that allows the
computer to perform a specific data processing job for the user.
Multimedia

Multimedia is media and content that uses a combination of different
content forms. The term can be used as a noun (a medium with multiple
content forms) or as an adjective describing a medium as having multiple
content forms. The term is used in contrast to media which use only
rudimentary computer display such as text-only, or traditional forms of
printed or hand-produced material. Multimedia includes a combination of
text, audio, still images, animation, video, or interactivity content forms.

Some examples of software to create multimedia are:
 •Microsoft power point
 •Adobe flash

Some examples of multimedia are: Cald, TOEFL, and Encarta
 encyclopedia.

software program developed by Microsoft. Microsoft PowerPoint or
Microsoft Office PowerPoint is a computer program for presentation.

application program that ben used professional authoring tool for
creating animations and bitmaps which are very attractive for the
development of interactive websites and dynamic. Flash was
designed with the ability to make a reliable 2-dimensional
animation and flash light so that is widely used for building and
animation effects on the website, Interactive CD and others. This
application can also be used to create animated logos, movie,
game, making navigation on web sites, animated buttons,
banners, interactive menus, interactive form fields, e-cards,
screen savers and manufacture of other web applications.

download. CALD has gathered together a wide variety of
commercial and publically available software that contains
algorithms for learning classifications and for clustering.

                                TOEFL
The Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL
evaluates the ability of an individual to use and understand English
in an academic setting. It was developed to address the problem
on ensuring English language proficiency for non-native speakers
wishing to study at American universities. It has become an
admission requirement for non-native English speakers at many
English-speaking colleges and universities.
