The Culture of Tuscany during the Renaissance
The culture of Tuscany during the renaissance was distinguished by its fine arts caused by the Roman Empire taking over of Constantinople, which
brought Greek knowledge of math, science, architecture, and the arts to the Tuscan region. In this particular time period, (1429–1519) if it were not for
the introduction of new understandings in math and science, the Tuscans would not have had the advancements in art and architecture we use to this
day. To further expand on this topic, we must look into additional aspects ofTuscany's culture including geography, work, folkways, and religion.
Tuscany is a fairly large region, compared to others in the middle left of Italy. It is surrounded by the Tyrrhenian sea to the southwest, and the
Apennines along the northeastern border. Tuscany has a climate of extremes. It has all four seasons, but to extremes. It has very hot summers and
fairly cold winters, along with general clouds but little rain, due to mostly the geography of its location. Most of the buildings had extreme
mathematical alignments, in a grid fashion. Most of the buildings were made of Stone, Stucco and some clay. The streets were in two "semicircles"
divided by the Arno River. The streets were aligned in a web pattern, surrounded by the mighty city walls. They had a lot of natural water from the
Tyrrhenian sea, and the various rivers, such as the famous Arno river that cuts the city of Tuscany in two, having a source at the top of the apennine
mountains, generally.

The Promise of Pentecost
The Promise of Pentecost
"I am going to send you what my Father promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
Luke 24:49(NIV)
Since the Old Testament, the Spirit of God was promised to come to the people of God. The prophet Joel wrote: "And afterward, I will pour out my
Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." (Joel 2:28 NIV) Nine
hundred years later, the Spirit of the living God was poured upon His church in an event named Pentecost. The purpose of the following research is to
show the Pentecost as a major point in the life of the apostles, as well as the beginning of the church of Christ.

Practically every doctrine of Christian theology is included in this first sermon given at Pentecost."(34) What is Minister Ockenga talking about? The
fisherman betrayer was preaching with great eloquence and authority? It seems like Peter had something different.
Arno Clemens says: "In his bold testimony Peter, the erstwhile denier of Christ, manifests the power of the Holy Spirit. His inspired testimony shows
what witness the Holy Spirit will bear through the believer, when He is unhindered."(34) Clemens adds: "Peter preached the Word and through the
Word he preached the Person, the Work and the Glory of Christ."(34)
The first message from Peter was a blast. Veli–Matti KГ¤rkkГ¤inen, professor of theology at the University of Helsinki, says: "В…Pentecost is a
dramatic work of the Spirit: Three thousand repent, and charismatic elements are visible."(31) Ockenga includes an interesting fact: "This sermon
resulted in the conversion of 3,000 people, who continued in the apostles ' doctrine and in prayer. They were note temporary conversions."(35)
Another important issue that marked the life of the Apostles specially Peter 's, was that they were now able to do miracles like what they saw Jesus do.
Minister Ockenga says: "In his position as an apostle, Peter had great power so that he performed miracles."(35) Acts 2:43 says: "Everyone was filled
with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostle. (NIV)" Minister Ockenga says:

Collaboration On Cosmological Theories
Collaboration on cosmological theories has helped to develop how we see the universe today. Astronomers have been able to develop several
theories, which helps us to learn about what we see in the sky. Based on observations on what we can see and of what we now based on the laws of
science, space is able to been seen much closer than we think it is. As Astronomers collaborate together, they are able to formulate theories on space
itself using investigation and observation. Through theories and astronomers knowledge, collaboration is able to be used to come together and share
knowledge to fully understand just a piece of the vastness outside of Earth. Some famous astronomers of the past are Hermann Bondi, Thomas Gold,

Pacific Northwest Fire Suppression Effects
INTRODUCTION
Projecting the effects of fire suppression and possible cumulative effects of fire suppression and other disturbances are vital management tasks moving
forward into forestry planning strategies for the future. Although the long–term effects of fire suppression in the Pacific Northwest have been
monitored since the early 1900's, it is challenging to decipher relationships between the cumulative effects of a century of suppression alongside
climate change, insect outbreaks and disease and plan how to combat them effectively.
Several software programs have been written and tested to simulate the future of these altered forests using a variety of fire regimes to map the
trajectory of the Pacific Northwest forests based on what is

Mesuvius: The Two Types Of Volcanoes
Volcanoes exist all around the world. A volcano is where ash, gases, and molten rock from 30
–120 feet underground erupts onto the surface. The ash,
gases, and molten rock all stay in something inside a volcano called a magma chamber. The larger the eruption the more gas the magma has. The
gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. The two types of lava are aa (ah–ah) and pahoehoe. The types of volcanoes are shield,
strato, silicic caldera complexes, monogenetic fields, mid–ocean ridges, and flood basalts. Mount Vesuviusis located in Italy, Europe in the city

The Murderers Are Among Us By Wolfgang Staudte
The murderers are among us is the first post war German movie made in 1946 by Wolfgang Staudte. The movie is a story of Dr. Hans Mertens, his
traumatizing experiences during Second World War. The movie portrays compassionate portrait of hope, resilience, and personal reconciliation. Rooted
in the tradition of German expressionism, Wolfgang Staudte compares the bleak austerity of realistic filmmaking with rapid montage sequences,
unusual camera angles, and sharp contrasts of light and darkness to create a sense of disorienting harsh reality that reflects the lives of the war's
survivors. The Murderers Are among Us, the first German postwar film, for many years set the tone for the discussion of German guilt and atonement.
Its lack of explicit references to Jews and their fate at the hands of the Nazis speaks to the state of the postwar German psyche. ... Show more content on

Arno Michaelis And Diana Ratcliff's Hamlet : An Analysis
Arno Michaelis and Diana Ratcliff both share a common passion in ending racism and its outposts within modern society.. However, they approach this
issue indistinct ways. Arno Michaelis in his political op–ed I learned the hard way how to stop hate using a personal experience to help highlight this
concept. While Diana Ratcliffe in Heather Heyer's cousin:Racism will get worse unless we stop it now uses an essay format to accomplish her
objectives In terms of comparisons these essays both share a very common key message. The idea that racism needs to subside. Michaelis uses
Charlottesville to accomplish this, "As the dust settles in Charlottesville, many Americans want to know what we as a society can do about this
disheartening situations."( Michaelis), through using Charlottesville he is able to demonstrate a present day issue. This as a result allows the reader to
sympathize to his cause. Ratcliff similar to Michaelis attempts to draw the reader in by using a similar strategy, "We need to stop referring to what
happened in Charlottesville as a clash between the "alt–left" and the "alt–right." The majority of the counter protesters were concerned residents of
Charlottesville, not a fringe political group. (Ratcliffe), this directly references the reader. The resulting effect of calling out to the reader is an extra
level of communication. It helps her to choose where to place the reader therefore increasing the persuasion element. The use of Charlottesville in the

Why Did The Big Bang Theory Exist
There are many possible conclusions that scientists may come to when looking at the universe's beginning. Although we can not go back in time to
look at the past, there are many logical theories which could determine what happened. Throughout the many possible scientific theories for the origin
of the universe, the big bang theory is the most logical about how the universe began due to how the universe is expanding, leftover energy, and the
abundance of certain elements. The big bang theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. This phenomenon shows that the universe
started in a small singularity which grew to what we know today. A singularity is a zone of finite matter shoved into an area of infinite density. Scientists

In the Big Bang model of origins, it is thought to be that the universe was full of extremely concentrated and unstable energy. In fact, it is assumed
that the matter was so compact that one teaspoon of space weighed 100 million trillion trillion trillion pounds, which defies the laws of physics. Three
minutes after the big bang, all the hydrogen atoms were created, and after some more time, all helium atoms were created. If the conditions stayed at
such a high temperature, the elements we see today would be different and the conditions for life would not be met. The Big Bang provides the most
evidence for how we have such an abundance of these

Analysis Of Big Pharma 's Power Over Congress
Even if reference pricing when brought to market did work effectively without stifling innovation, the process of creating a new act to instate a
reference pricing law would be far too long and drawn out to make such a risk worthwhile. Just getting such a bill to the point where Congress
would vote on it would be a long and winding road of pushing the bill through committees and rewriting parts of it to get the house and senate to
even consider passing it, likely taking close to a year if successful. And even getting to the voting stage, such a bill would have a very low chance of
passing through Congress. This is because, as Mundy states, "Big Pharma's power over lawmakers in both parties," makes it extremely difficult for

It, as stated earlier, has many of the same traits that commonly posed solutions like reference pricing do. But it takes what these solutions have and
expands upon it, by encouraging innovation rather than stifling it and offering the important power bestowed to Congress to march–in when not
properly enforced. Although stated in the act that Congress may march–in when the guidelines of the act are not being followed (as they aren't), the
government has never once exercised its right to march in, and there only has been "five attempts (petitions from patients, advocacy groups, or
corporations) to get the government to invoke march–in" rights (Mundy). Also, "Bayh–Dole has never been publicly discussed by any administration"
so far (Arno and Davis). The lack of action by Congress can be attributed to pharmaceutical company's hold on Congress as mentioned earlier, and the
lack of public knowledge or push for the act. With only five attempts by the public to get Congress to march–in and not many institutions really talking
about the Bayh–Dole Act, it's no wonder not much has been done. If more attention were brought to the Bayh–Dole Act through petitions and focus
groups as Mundy discusses, Congress could be more eager to exercise their march–in rights. Also, if more government agencies such as the National
Institute of Heath talked about the Bayh–Dole Act and its

The Discovery and Observation of the Cosmic Microwave Background: Implications for Cosmology
On a spring day in late May in 1964, the future of our understanding of the universe was greatly influenced, arguable on accident. Two radio
astronomers discovered something unusual, not with their eyes, but with their ears. Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson essentially heard the buzz that the
universe was echoing into their headphones, but they could not wrap their head around what it was. The two scientists were bewildered by the odd
humming sound that was picked up by their labs horn antenna and they had no idea the significance of what they were listening to. They thought it
must have been some sort of interference from a secondary source in or around their lab and antenna. They did everything in their power to eliminate
anything that could possibly interfere with the radio signals that they were receiving; they went as far as getting rid of pigeons that had their nest on
top of the astronomer's antenna. It was not until they successfully got rid of anything that could potentially explain this noise that they came to the
exciting conclusion that what they stumbled upon must be big. With this knowledge in mind, the idea that something big was at their fingertips, they
had a few questions on their mind that needed answering. First and foremost, they obviously wanted and needed to figure out what exactly the noise
they were hearing was. Secondly, they wanted to know what exactly

Leonardo was born on the fifteenth of April in the year of 1452, it was known as "the third hour of the night." Vinci was born in the Tuscan hill town

the one of the "most successful artists of his day," named Andrea di Cione, which was known as Verrocchio (
Leonardo Da Vinci timeline).
Verrocchio had a workshop which was at the center of the town inFlorence, which promised the younger Leonardo an education in the real world.
Leonardo then was shown to a wide range of technical work and had opportunities, then learned writing, chemistry, metallurgy, metal working,
plastering, leather working, mechanics and carpentry. Also, he was taught skills such as drawing, painting, sculpting and modeling (Vinci Begins

Essay on The Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory
Why is the Universe expanding? What is Cosmic Back Ground Radiation (CBR)? There are many questions asked about our Universe, which we know
so little about. Scientists, in their attempt to answer these and other confrontations, have found one idea that seems to explain much of what we don't
understand: The Big Bang Theory.
An explosion of incomprehensible speed was the beginning of our known Universe and existence. At that time matter as small as the head of a pin
inflated to become larger than the visible Universe of today in less than one millisecond. The newly born Universe cooled very quickly and continued
to grow. Still, the heat was too great for normal elementary particles like protons and neutrons to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There were many people who worked together to come up with the present theory of creation. Edwin Hubble, Arno Penzias, Robert Wilson and Alan
Guth all contributed greatly to the formation of the Big Bang theory.
Edwin Hubble used his large telescope to see far away stars and galaxies. He knew that the elements in the stars reflected back specific colors, and
you could tell what a star was made of by its color ?DNA?. Hubble noticed that this pattern had been slightly shifted to the red side of the spectrum,
otherwise called a red shift. He knew, based on the Doppler effect, that a red shift was caused by the stretched wavelengths of an object moving
away from a point. If the galaxies he had observed had shifted to the red side then it meant that they were moving away from Earth. He also
discovered that the galaxies were moving away from each other, as well.
With these observations in mind, Hubble announced that the universe was expanding. He then came to this syllogism: If the universe is expanding,
then at one point it was smaller. The result of his postulations was the Big Bang theory.
Another mystery of the universe was the Cosmic Background Radiation (CBR). CBR is made up of photons throughout the universe that are floating
for no apparent reason in space. Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson spent their lives trying to explain the origin of this radiation and why it is still
existent today. Their discoveries

New Field of Research: Video Rewrite
Research Proposal 1 Proposed Study 1.1 Title Video Rewrite 1.2 Background & Contribution Video rewrite is a new field of research aiming to utilize
the photo–realism of real video input to synthesize new video output without having three di– mensional (3D) information of the scene. It can be
categorized under the emerging field of image–based rendering (IBR) or more specifically video– based rendering. The main advantage of video
rewrite is the realism it offers because it directly uses video frames from real life scenes. By finding simi– lar frames and restructuring the original
frame sequence, video rewrite can generate very realistic looking animations or video loops without having to construct complex 3D surface models
and movement models. [15, 25, 24] There are many potential applications for video rewrite ranging from commercial use in the movie industry, game
industry, and special effects animation, to personal usage of presenting dynamic scenes on web pages. The areas that I am interested in researching are
video texture generation and video–based animation. "Video texture" is a new media introduced by Schodl et al.[23] and it is simply a video that
plays forever, which can be used as a picture that moves. The problem areas associated with video texture generation are similarity measurement
between frames or regions within frames, segmentation of re– gions, and the

Lucy Chapter Summary
In the beginning of the novel Lucy is easily persuaded by her cousin Miss Bartlett and followed her lead while in Italy. Furthermore Miss Bartlett
highly disapproved of the Emersons even mentioning "His manner was somewhat unfortunate" (Forster 7). Her discontent with the coarse way
Mr. Emerson carried himself made her doubt his intentions when he offered to give Lucy and her his rooms. In reality Mr. Emerson and his son
George were just being nice, this offer foreshadows the relationship Lucy and George will eventually create. Having the room with a view that Mr.
Emerson so kindly gave up holds a deeper meaning when Lucy and George come full circle at the end and find themselves back in Florence with a
room with a view. After Lucy and George witness a violent scene Forster describes the water as "rushing below them, almost black in the
advancing night" (35). Even though this sets the tone as dark and depressing it also holds a deeper meaning of how Lucy is feeling about the way
she feels for George. Lucy wants to go to the "dark side" and let George in but her cousin is the dark force restricting her from following her heart.
Florence was full of opportunity, but Lucy was scared to let Miss Bartlett down. The Arno... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Influence The Art World
For my essay I have chosen to write about the great Leonardo da Vinci or his less known full name Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, I chose him

Leonardo was in a way thrown aside by society and his family, his parents spent no money towards his education, and wasn't even unable to take his

between Lucy and George. Quickly, Lucy realizes her true love is George, not Cecil. Cecil reads a scene from a cheesy romance novel that was
written by one of the previous hotel guests from back when Lucy and George were guests as well. The scene is quite similar to the kiss Lucy and
George had shared on the countryside. Cecil finds the scene absolutely hilarious and essentially makes fun of it, but Lucy and George are left
recollecting their kiss. Lucy is then torn between what to do. She loves George but holds societal pressure to marry Cecil. She eventually ends up
sending George away, but not before George opens her eyes to see how ridiculous Cecil truly is. Lucy breaks off her engagement with Cecil, but
ultimately, she is left with no one to love. She attempts to escape her feelings by taking an improptu vacation to Greece. Before making it to Greece,
Lucy comes face–to–face with Mr. Emerson, who begs Lucy to open her eyes to her love for George. The novel ultimately ends with Lucy breaking
all societal expectations and standards, as she and George check into a room with a view in Florence,

Essay On The Underground Railroad In North Carolina
The Underground Railroad in North Carolina
The Underground Railroad was perhaps the most active and dramatic protest action against slavery in United States history and as we look at the
Underground Railroad in North Carolina we will focus on the Quakers, Levi Coffin's early years, and the accounts of escaped slaves from North
Carolina. The unique blend of southern slave holder and northern abolitionist influences in the formation of North Carolina served to make the state an
important link in the efforts to end slavery inside and outside of North Carolina borders.
Although not "underground" nor a "railroad," this informal system became a loosely constructed network of escape routes that originated in the South,

Levi Coffin was born on October 28, 1798 on a farm in New Garden, North Carolina, the only son of seven children born to Quaker parents, Levi and
Prudence (Williams) Coffin.
Because his father needed him to work on the farm, young Levi received the bulk of his education at home. His home schooling proved to be a
good education. As a young boy growing up in North Carolina in the early 1800's, Levi saw firsthand the reality of slavery. One day while he was
out with his father helping to chop wood by the roadside, a group of slaves, handcuffed and chained together, passed by on their way to be sold in
Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana. When Levi's father asked them why they were chained, one of the men sadly replied: "They have taken us away
from our wives and children, and they chain us lest we should make our escape and go back to them."1 After the group of slaves had gone, young
Levi wondered to himself how he would feel if his father were taken away from him.
The incident by the side of a Guilford County road marked the first stirring of Levi Coffin's sympathy for the oppressed. Together with a strong hatred
of oppression and injustice in any form, Coffin later said these "were the motives that influenced my

Joseph Campbell's The Hero With A Thousand Faces
During Joseph Campbell's, "The Hero With A Thousand Faces", he explains a process. This process is the psychological journey that each and every
one of us, can go through. It opens doors to new opportunities and advancements. There are many trials, and conflicts the hero must face. The journey
ahead sometimes gets easier, but also difficult. I will be explaining how Joseph Campbell illustrates the argument that his story makes a compelling
argument when it comes to stating a person goes through trials, and a life changing experience.
1st: In the call to adventure, Joseph's hero starts in a regular life. Similarly, to when playing a R.P.G, and a hero decides to take on a quest. Campbell's
example was, "An underground kingdom, or a world above

Leonardo Da Vinci And Machiavelli's Role In Secular Italy
In my final short summary, I will be explaining both Leonardo da Vinci and Machiavelli's roles in secular Italy. To represent this, I will examine how
their legacies were effected and finally, I will then conclude with my final opinions on these two philosophers and the journey's they both endeavored.
Although Leonardo and Machiavelli both appeared to leave Florence in unfavorable ways, one could argue that both men ultimately learned from
failure. The men spent their time in a non–religious Florence in an alliance, however, they both used this in attempts to thrive on their own. Leonardo
spent his time working on his art; but, more importantly he was attempting to build a canal that would lead from the Arno river to the sea. Machiavelli
worked by using his political power to supervise the Florence government during this project, however, it eventually failed. "After the Arno diversion
was abandoned, Leonardo and NiccolГІ did what truly great artists, scientists, and leaders often do in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I justify this by saying if it were not for yet another military failure, Machiavelli may never have been imprisoned which lead him to write The
Prince (Masters). As for Leonardo, his failures also led him to even greater success, "Leonardo started life as a lowly apprentice and ended as a valued
advisor to a powerful foreign king" (Masters pg. 193). In this short summary I discussed the roles that both Leonardo da Vinci and NiccolГІ
Machiavelli were a part of in secular Italy, along with a brief outlook on what life was like after they separated. If were to get the chance to write
another paper on this topic, I feel that it would be beneficial to talk more in detail about both the Arno river failure and also discuss the other failures
they faced before diverging their

Colombian Culture VS American culture
Culture can be seen from the interaction of many things such as history, activities and developments. It is also represented in the form of people live.
Living in two different countries is a unique experience that gives you a new way of thinking. In my case I have lived in Colombia and now in the
United States. Despite bearing some minor similarities, the differences between this to countries are notable in geography, festivities, economic and
food. Colombia is located in South America, is divided into five regions: Andina, Pacifica, Caribe, Amazonica and Orinoquia. It has thirty–two states.
Colombia is bordered to the north by Panama, to the east by Venezuela and Brazil, south to Peru and Ecuador, and to the west by the Pacific Ocean.
Colombia is the only South American country with coastlines on the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, which has several islands as the
Archipelago of San AndrГ©s, Providencia and Santa Catalina. Colombia has the largest number of species per unit area in the world, total is the
second most diverse country in the world after Brazil. United Sates is located in North America where its 48 states and Washington DC, the capital
district. Between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of
the continent, with Canada to the east. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, and is the only U.S. state that is not in America. The

'A Room with a View' and 'The Remains of the Day' are two novels which involve journeys of physical and spiritual discovery. The main characters of
the stories are dissimilar in gender, age and social status but both experience situations and encounters which challenge their perspectives and personal
values. The authors of these books have both included references to nature and landscape to emphasize, mirror and reinforce the reactions and emotions
of their characters.
They have also used nature and landscape to highlight key events.

Eventually both ladies have their rooms with views and Lucy throws open her windows and admires the lights dancing over the Arno, in sharp contrast
to the cypresses and Apennines, black against the rising room. This is like a metaphoric opening of Lucy's eyes and mind in preparation for the
adventures which await her. In addition, this black and white vignette is a romantic, idyllic view of the Arno and is in contrast with the brightly
coloured, sunlit scene of the following morning, which is full of life, movement and noise, as the Italians go about their daily routines and Lucy views
the reality which is about to alter her world for ever.
By comparison, 'The Remains of the Day' is set in the rolling countryside of England between the two Wars. Stevens is the old butler at Darlington
Hall and he has lived his life in service, metaphorically confined within large, country houses. He has had a sheltered, privileged life, gaining his
knowledge of England from employers, guests, staff and books, especially 'The Wonder of England' by Mrs Jane Symons. His present employer, Mr
Farraday, an American, observes that 'you're always locked up in these big houses' and encourages Stevens to get out and see 'this beautiful country of
yours'. Stevens begins his journey along routes which 'surprised' him due to their 'familiarity'. However, he soon experiences a 'sense of unease mixed
with exhilaration' as the surroundings become unrecognizable.

What Are Leonardo Da Vinci's Major Accomplishments
You know the famous paintings like Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, these were both painted by the famous artist Leonardo Da Vinci. Besides being a
great artist he was an inventor, architect and was connected with science and nature. Although people didn't understand it at the time some of his ideas
he drew led to inventions like the bicycle, the helicopter and an airplane like machine.
Leonardo Da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452, in Vinci,Italy. His full birthname was "Lionardo di ser Piero da Vinci".His first five years were lived
in the hamlet of Anchiano. This was the home of his mother. He then started living with his father in 1457.
Leonardo had little education beyond basic reading, writing and mathematics. He was largely self–taught. Instead of art, he studied nature, mechanics,
anatomy, physics, weaponry, and more. Later, he started doing art and his first artwork was done in pen and ink. It was called Arno Valley, sketched
in 1473. Other pieces like "The Adoration of the Magi" hasn't been finished. He qualified for membership as a master artist in Florence's Guild of Saint
Luke and made his own workshop. Leonardo was best known for his paintings, but his best masterpieces were "Mona Lisa", and "The Last Supper". ...

He was misguided about his life and the world around him, arno states "I honestly believed that the white race was facing genocide at the hands of the
jews...I was prepared to be a mass murderer if that's what I had to do to save my race" (103) . His disoriented reality led him to do some unbearable
things but his endless drinking made him justify it and forget about it entirely. With the help of an unimaginable amount of booze, he led a life
filled with hate towards every one with a different ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, etc and hanging around complete jerks barely getting by
in life. Everywhere he went, he found a fight to get into just to make a point that he could omit fear and terrorize victims so he could feel powerful
as a white man. He believed he vocalized activism with signs that would say " WHITE REVOLUTION IS THE ONLY SOLUTION" or "think of
the future of our white children" (44); in his mind, he was undefeatable and a blessing to society by trying to save them from a nation of diversity.
Arno with his group of skin head friends used violence and anger to emphasize their strong willed opinions and beliefs, until his daughter was born

Orange Blood Narrative
Like most Orange Bloods, I fondly remember my first encounter with the Texas Cowboys organization. It was an August Sunday at Darrell K

to tailgate while feeling slightly anxious for what was to come against the tenth ranked Fighting Irish. I found my seat, enjoyed the pregame
atmosphere and tried to prepare myself for what was to come. It was now time for kickoff, Mitchell Becker prepared to kick the ball off. He started
into his kick and "BOOM!" Just like that, I jumped out of my seat in fear. Little did I know, I was sitting just four rows behind Smokey the Cannon.

Leonardo Da Vinci: Forgotten In World History
Hayden Block
Don't Forget Da Vinci
Leonardo Da Vinci should not be forgotten in World History because of his expertise and influence in the fields of astronomy and cartography,
inventing/engineering, and art. Leonardo Da Vinci was a man of many fields. Born on April 15, 1452, he grew up in the small town of Vinci on the
Tuscan Hill. He was the non–biological son of Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci, a Florentine notary, and Caterina, a peasant who may have
been a slave from the Middle East. When he turned fourteen he became the apprentice to one of the most successful artists at this time, Andrea di
Cione, otherwise known as Verrocchio. Verrocchio exposed Leonardo to many technical skills including drafting, chemistry, metallurgy, metal... Show

Leonardo Da Vinci created the Plan of Imola, currently recognized as the earliest map which it is possible to date, drawn in 1502 (1). It is possible
that these are the first ever geometric plans of a town and it was most likely drawn for strategical reasons. Also, he created a map of Arezzo and the
China Valley. He portrayed Perugia in the upper right hand corner, Arezzo in the upper left hand corner, and Siena towards the bottom of the map (1).
It is claimed that it may have been part of the same campaign as the Plan of Imola. Last in the field of cartography, Leonardo Da Vinci created Arno,
which were the plans for redirecting the course of the River Arno, which flows through Florence, Italy (1). This plan was supposedly created to solve
conflict between Florence and Pisa through technology rather than war (2). He had precisely mapped out the project and work began in 1503,
digging three new channels cut off a large bend in the river (1). Although Leonardo's plans would have been more effective, the design had to be
changed due to insufficient funds for the project and the extended amount of manual labor hours that would've been needed to complete this project. As
for astronomy Leonardo had one major accomplishment, that being solving the ancient phenomenon of Earthshine. Earthshine is the glow caused by
sunlight reflected off the earth, especially on the darker portion of a crescent moon, which is noticeable during a crescent moon when the rest of the
moon appears as well, just darker. It had been pondered about for a great amount of time until eventually, in the 16th century, Leonardo Da Vinci
figured it out. In this time this was an incredible discovery to make, being that no one had ever been to the moon and looked up at the Earth nor did
most people know that the Earth orbited the sun, as Copernicus' sun–centered solar system theory was not established until 1543, twenty years

The Big Bang Theory : The Creation Of The Big Bang Theory
Did you know that "it has been 50 years since two scientists found landmark evidence for the Big Bang theory?"(Kramer,2014) The Bang Theory aka
BBT is the most popular explanation about the start of our universe that is widely accepted/acknowledged. The theory is that "the entire Universe is
spreading apart, with distant galaxies speeding away from us in all directions. Run the clock backwards to 13.8 billion years ago, and everything in the
Cosmos started out as a single point in space. In an instant, everything expanded outward from that location, forming the energy, atoms and eventually
the stars and galaxies we see today." (Cain, 2013) The Big Bang Theory is possibly right because of the evidence/research backed up by it such as
exploration done by Edwin Hubble, data found by both Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, and background radiation that had been found that is
believed to be created by the Big Bang.
In the first place, Edwin Hubble was an astronomer who found important information of the BBT. His findings originated the Big Bang Theory in the
first place. ("The Big Bang Theory", n.d.) In 1929, Edwin Hubble declared that the universe was increasing and that most galaxies were moving away
from us. (Redshift and Hubble's law, n.d.) This shut down Einstein's theory that the universe was static ("Hubble's Law", 2015)Also, "his theory states
that the Universe must have been created in this single event which came to be known as the "Big Bang" through expanding at an

Why I Want A Big Deal About It?
Just as the two siblings continued to argue with each other, Drusilla muttered under her throat. "If there's one thing I just don't get about those
two, why make a big deal about it? I mean, they should be glad that Virgil Sapienti isn't their uncle, or something freaky like that." As the minutes
pass, the siblings are still arguing for all the most trivial of reasons. Drusilla decided that she needed to intervene, to steer the conversation back to
its intended course. "Okay, are we finished arguing?" she asked the two Bauer sisters. "Both of you: your sisterly debacles aren't going to get us
anywhere. WE should be discussing about bigger things, like helping Action Andy rebuild his outfit, and not getting on Kaiserin Richardson's bad
side. I mean, do either of you realize that your bickering is as pointless as the ones Fabian and Siegmund have every now and then, if not more so
than theirs? So if I were either of you, I would just shut up and stop the arguing." "Drusilla's right, Inge," said Hannelore. "This isn't going anywhere.
For all we know, our 'cousin' is somewhere here, wandering aimlessly, completely ignorant of what we already know." "That's the spirit!" exclaimed
Drusilla, speaking highly of Germania as she decided to lead by example. "See, there's no point in having all that pointless bickering to begin with; it
only worsens our situation, ruins the peace around here." "Now that she mentioned it," Inge thought to herself for a moment, the cogs of inspiration

Japanese Imperialism Dbq Essay
Chloe Chan AP World II Period 4 1/9/18 2010 DBQ During this time period, both India and Japan faced a new situation: the new imperialism of
Europe. India was unable to defend themselves, thus leading to them becoming a colony of Britain. Japan however, selectively borrowed from the
Europeans after proving themselves to be equals of the once superior Europeans. Despite having such contrasting fates, both India and Japan had
similarities in the miserable work conditions for peasants. But because India was a colony while Japan was a country, India data was recorded by
British officials and Japanese data was record by Japanese officials. Another difference was the source of labor for textile production. India had mostly

Since India was a colony of the British, India data was recorded by British officials while Japanese was record by Japanese officials for it was a self
governing country. Document 1 showed a data chart about the production of cotton yarn and cloth in India. (doc 1) However, this data was not
gathered by Indian authorities but by the British. This is similar to document 9 which consists of the report on the cotton mills in India, Calcutta.
This report was by the British Royal Commission of Labor. In this report, there is information about what was going on with the workers: where
they came from, where they lived and their wages. The workers were peasants who lived in small huts near the factory and were paid low wages.
(doc 9) Instead of an Indian official reporting the status of the mill, it was a British worker. This is because India was a colony meaning it was under
British authority. The British held all the power and made all the important decisions. The Indians were only their "slaves" and only existed to make
money for Britain. This greatly contrasts with document 2 which is a data chart about the production of cotton yarn in Japan put together by the
Japanese Imperial Cabinet Bureau of Statistics. (doc 2) This shows how the Japanese government controlled the economy. This is because Japan was a
self–governing country. It was able to show the Europeans that they are a

The Culture Of Tuscany During The Renaissance

  • 1. The Culture of Tuscany during the Renaissance The culture of Tuscany during the renaissance was distinguished by its fine arts caused by the Roman Empire taking over of Constantinople, which brought Greek knowledge of math, science, architecture, and the arts to the Tuscan region. In this particular time period, (1429–1519) if it were not for the introduction of new understandings in math and science, the Tuscans would not have had the advancements in art and architecture we use to this day. To further expand on this topic, we must look into additional aspects ofTuscany's culture including geography, work, folkways, and religion. Tuscany is a fairly large region, compared to others in the middle left of Italy. It is surrounded by the Tyrrhenian sea to the southwest, and the Apennines along the northeastern border. Tuscany has a climate of extremes. It has all four seasons, but to extremes. It has very hot summers and fairly cold winters, along with general clouds but little rain, due to mostly the geography of its location. Most of the buildings had extreme mathematical alignments, in a grid fashion. Most of the buildings were made of Stone, Stucco and some clay. The streets were in two "semicircles" divided by the Arno River. The streets were aligned in a web pattern, surrounded by the mighty city walls. They had a lot of natural water from the Tyrrhenian sea, and the various rivers, such as the famous Arno river that cuts the city of Tuscany in two, having a source at the top of the apennine mountains, generally. ... Luke 24:49(NIV) Since the Old Testament, the Spirit of God was promised to come to the people of God. The prophet Joel wrote: "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." (Joel 2:28 NIV) Nine hundred years later, the Spirit of the living God was poured upon His church in an event named Pentecost. His inspired testimony shows what witness the Holy Spirit will bear through the believer, when He is unhindered."(34) Clemens adds: "Peter preached the Word and through the Word he preached the Person, the Work and the Glory of Christ."(34) The first message from Peter was a blast. Veli–Matti KГ¤rkkГ¤inen, professor of theology at the University of Helsinki, says: "В…Pentecost is a dramatic work of the Spirit: Three thousand repent, and charismatic elements are visible."(31) Ockenga includes an interesting fact: "This sermon resulted in the conversion of 3,000 people, who continued in the apostles ' doctrine and in prayer. They were note temporary conversions."(35) Another important issue that marked the life of the Apostles specially Peter 's, was that they were now able to do miracles like what they saw Jesus do. Minister Ockenga says: "In his position as an apostle, Peter had great power so that he performed miracles."(35) Acts 2:43 says: "Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostle. Astronomers have been able to develop several theories, which helps us to learn about what we see in the sky. Based on observations on what we can see and of what we now based on the laws of science, space is able to been seen much closer than we think it is. As Astronomers collaborate together, they are able to formulate theories on space itself using investigation and observation. Through theories and astronomers knowledge, collaboration is able to be used to come together and share knowledge to fully understand just a piece of the vastness outside of Earth. Although the long–term effects of fire suppression in the Pacific Northwest have been monitored since the early 1900's, it is challenging to decipher relationships between the cumulative effects of a century of suppression alongside climate change, insect outbreaks and disease and plan how to combat them effectively. • 7. The Murderers Are Among Us By Wolfgang Staudte The murderers are among us is the first post war German movie made in 1946 by Wolfgang Staudte. The movie is a story of Dr. Hans Mertens, his traumatizing experiences during Second World War. The movie portrays compassionate portrait of hope, resilience, and personal reconciliation. Rooted in the tradition of German expressionism, Wolfgang Staudte compares the bleak austerity of realistic filmmaking with rapid montage sequences, unusual camera angles, and sharp contrasts of light and darkness to create a sense of disorienting harsh reality that reflects the lives of the war's survivors. The Murderers Are among Us, the first German postwar film, for many years set the tone for the discussion of German guilt and atonement. Its lack of explicit references to Jews and their fate at the hands of the Nazis speaks to the state of the postwar German psyche. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 8. Arno Michaelis And Diana Ratcliff's Hamlet : An Analysis Arno Michaelis and Diana Ratcliff both share a common passion in ending racism and its outposts within modern society.. However, they approach this issue indistinct ways. Arno Michaelis in his political op–ed I learned the hard way how to stop hate using a personal experience to help highlight this concept. While Diana Ratcliffe in Heather Heyer's cousin:Racism will get worse unless we stop it now uses an essay format to accomplish her objectives In terms of comparisons these essays both share a very common key message. The idea that racism needs to subside. Michaelis uses Charlottesville to accomplish this, "As the dust settles in Charlottesville, many Americans want to know what we as a society can do about this disheartening situations."( Michaelis), through using Charlottesville he is able to demonstrate a present day issue. This as a result allows the reader to sympathize to his cause. Ratcliff similar to Michaelis attempts to draw the reader in by using a similar strategy, "We need to stop referring to what happened in Charlottesville as a clash between the "alt–left" and the "alt–right." The majority of the counter protesters were concerned residents of Charlottesville, not a fringe political group. (Ratcliffe), this directly references the reader. The resulting effect of calling out to the reader is an extra level of communication. It helps her to choose where to place the reader therefore increasing the persuasion element. • 9. Why Did The Big Bang Theory Exist There are many possible conclusions that scientists may come to when looking at the universe's beginning. Although we can not go back in time to look at the past, there are many logical theories which could determine what happened. Throughout the many possible scientific theories for the origin of the universe, the big bang theory is the most logical about how the universe began due to how the universe is expanding, leftover energy, and the abundance of certain elements. The big bang theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. This phenomenon shows that the universe started in a small singularity which grew to what we know today. A singularity is a zone of finite matter shoved into an area of infinite density. Scientists ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Three minutes after the big bang, all the hydrogen atoms were created, and after some more time, all helium atoms were created. • 10. Analysis Of Big Pharma 's Power Over Congress Even if reference pricing when brought to market did work effectively without stifling innovation, the process of creating a new act to instate a reference pricing law would be far too long and drawn out to make such a risk worthwhile. Just getting such a bill to the point where Congress would vote on it would be a long and winding road of pushing the bill through committees and rewriting parts of it to get the house and senate to even consider passing it, likely taking close to a year if successful. And even getting to the voting stage, such a bill would have a very low chance of passing through Congress. This is because, as Mundy states, "Big Pharma's power over lawmakers in both parties," makes it extremely difficult for such a bold... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It, as stated earlier, has many of the same traits that commonly posed solutions like reference pricing do. But it takes what these solutions have and expands upon it, by encouraging innovation rather than stifling it and offering the important power bestowed to Congress to march–in when not properly enforced. Although stated in the act that Congress may march–in when the guidelines of the act are not being followed (as they aren't), the government has never once exercised its right to march in, and there only has been "five attempts (petitions from patients, advocacy groups, or corporations) to get the government to invoke march–in" rights (Mundy). Also, "Bayh–Dole has never been publicly discussed by any administration" so far (Arno and Davis). The lack of action by Congress can be attributed to pharmaceutical company's hold on Congress as mentioned earlier, and the lack of public knowledge or push for the act. With only five attempts by the public to get Congress to march–in and not many institutions really talking about the Bayh–Dole Act, it's no wonder not much has been done. If more attention were brought to the Bayh–Dole Act through petitions and focus groups as Mundy discusses, Congress could be more eager to exercise their march–in rights. The Discovery and Observation of the Cosmic Microwave Background: Implications for Cosmology On a spring day in late May in 1964, the future of our understanding of the universe was greatly influenced, arguable on accident. Two radio astronomers discovered something unusual, not with their eyes, but with their ears. Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson essentially heard the buzz that the universe was echoing into their headphones, but they could not wrap their head around what it was. The two scientists were bewildered by the odd humming sound that was picked up by their labs horn antenna and they had no idea the significance of what they were listening to. They thought it must have been some sort of interference from a secondary source in or around their lab and antenna. They did everything in their power to eliminate anything that could possibly interfere with the radio signals that they were receiving; they went as far as getting rid of pigeons that had their nest on top of the astronomer's antenna. It was not until they successfully got rid of anything that could potentially explain this noise that they came to the exciting conclusion that what they stumbled upon must be big. With this knowledge in mind, the idea that something big was at their fingertips, they had a few questions on their mind that needed answering. First and foremost, they obviously wanted and needed to figure out what exactly the noise they were hearing was. Secondly, they wanted to know what exactly ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There are many questions asked about our Universe, which we know so little about. Scientists, in their attempt to answer these and other confrontations, have found one idea that seems to explain much of what we don't understand: The Big Bang Theory. An explosion of incomprehensible speed was the beginning of our known Universe and existence. At that time matter as small as the head of a pin inflated to become larger than the visible Universe of today in less than one millisecond. The newly born Universe cooled very quickly and continued to grow. Still, the heat was too great for normal elementary particles like protons and neutrons to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There were many people who worked together to come up with the present theory of creation. Edwin Hubble, Arno Penzias, Robert Wilson and Alan Guth all contributed greatly to the formation of the Big Bang theory. Edwin Hubble used his large telescope to see far away stars and galaxies. He knew that the elements in the stars reflected back specific colors, and you could tell what a star was made of by its color ?DNA?. Hubble noticed that this pattern had been slightly shifted to the red side of the spectrum, otherwise called a red shift. He knew, based on the Doppler effect, that a red shift was caused by the stretched wavelengths of an object moving away from a point. If the galaxies he had observed had shifted to the red side then it meant that they were moving away from Earth. He also discovered that the galaxies were moving away from each other, as well. With these observations in mind, Hubble announced that the universe was expanding. He then came to this syllogism: If the universe is expanding, then at one point it was smaller. The result of his postulations was the Big Bang theory. Another mystery of the universe was the Cosmic Background Radiation (CBR). CBR is made up of photons throughout the universe that are floating for no apparent reason in space. Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson spent their lives trying to explain the origin of this radiation and why it is still existent today. Their discoveries

It can be categorized under the emerging field of image–based rendering (IBR) or more specifically video– based rendering. The main advantage of video rewrite is the realism it offers because it directly uses video frames from real life scenes. By finding simi– lar frames and restructuring the original frame sequence, video rewrite can generate very realistic looking animations or video loops without having to construct complex 3D surface models and movement models. [15, 25, 24] There are many potential applications for video rewrite ranging from commercial use in the movie industry, game industry, and special effects animation, to personal usage of presenting dynamic scenes on web pages. The areas that I am interested in researching are video texture generation and video–based animation. "Video texture" is a new media introduced by Schodl et al.[23] and it is simply a video that plays forever, which can be used as a picture that moves. The problem areas associated with video texture generation are similarity measurement between frames or regions within frames, segmentation of re– gions, and the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 23. Lucy Chapter Summary In the beginning of the novel Lucy is easily persuaded by her cousin Miss Bartlett and followed her lead while in Italy. Furthermore Miss Bartlett highly disapproved of the Emersons even mentioning "His manner was somewhat unfortunate" (Forster 7). Her discontent with the coarse way Mr. Emerson carried himself made her doubt his intentions when he offered to give Lucy and her his rooms. In reality Mr. Emerson and his son George were just being nice, this offer foreshadows the relationship Lucy and George will eventually create. Having the room with a view that Mr. Emerson so kindly gave up holds a deeper meaning when Lucy and George come full circle at the end and find themselves back in Florence with a room with a view. After Lucy and George witness a violent scene Forster describes the water as "rushing below them, almost black in the advancing night" (35). Even though this sets the tone as dark and depressing it also holds a deeper meaning of how Lucy is feeling about the way she feels for George. Lucy wants to go to the "dark side" and let George in but her cousin is the dark force restricting her from following her heart. Florence was full of opportunity, but Lucy was scared to let Miss Bartlett down. The Arno... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This quote shows that in England Lucy didn't get the respect she deserved or the credit she deserved for being a strong individual. George and Italy would accept Lucy just the way she is, but England would only put Lucy down and cement her into a loveless marriage where her husband viewed her as a possession and a trophy. England isn't where Lucy belonged and if she remained in England she would have never gotten the chance to experience having a voice and someone listening, she would have never realized that there were better things out there in the ... • 24. How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Influence The Art World For my essay I have chosen to write about the great Leonardo da Vinci or his less known full name Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, I chose him because of his iconic influence on the art world and for how fascinating his mind was, being so ahead of his time. He was the Father of the High Renaissance style and of the most important painters of The Renaissance. With works from "Virgin of the Rocks" to the world known "Mona Lisa" da Vinci's work as inspired thousands of artists over many generations with his technique and ability to bring out atmospheric prospective. Born On April 15, 1452 Leonardo was raised in Vinci Italy a small town in the lower valley of the Arno River in the territory of Florence. Growing up in a time of great change, Humanism started to become a thing of study as compared to focusing solely on god and religion. As a bastard child of a farmer's daughter Leonardo lived with his father and is guessed to have been prevented from seeing his her due to her lower social class. Due to his status Leonardo was in a way thrown aside by society and his family, his parents spent no money towards his education, and wasn't even unable to take his father's name. Charlotte is offended by this offer, feeling as though Mr. Emerson's offer was completely inappropriate, but agrees to the room switch after some convincing. The scene is quite similar to the kiss Lucy and George had shared on the countryside. Cecil finds the scene absolutely hilarious and essentially makes fun of it, but Lucy and George are left recollecting their kiss. Lucy is then torn between what to do. She loves George but holds societal pressure to marry Cecil. She eventually ends up sending George away, but not before George opens her eyes to see how ridiculous Cecil truly is. Lucy breaks off her engagement with Cecil, but ultimately, she is left with no one to love. She attempts to escape her feelings by taking an improptu vacation to Greece. Essay On The Underground Railroad In North Carolina The Underground Railroad in North Carolina The Underground Railroad was perhaps the most active and dramatic protest action against slavery in United States history and as we look at the Underground Railroad in North Carolina we will focus on the Quakers, Levi Coffin's early years, and the accounts of escaped slaves from North Carolina. The unique blend of southern slave holder and northern abolitionist influences in the formation of North Carolina served to make the state an important link in the efforts to end slavery inside and outside of North Carolina borders. Although not "underground" nor a "railroad," this informal system became a loosely constructed network of escape routes that originated in the South, intertwined ... Levi Coffin was born on October 28, 1798 on a farm in New Garden, North Carolina, the only son of seven children born to Quaker parents, Levi and Prudence (Williams) Coffin. Because his father needed him to work on the farm, young Levi received the bulk of his education at home. His home schooling proved to be a good education. As a young boy growing up in North Carolina in the early 1800's, Levi saw firsthand the reality of slavery. One day while he was out with his father helping to chop wood by the roadside, a group of slaves, handcuffed and chained together, passed by on their way to be sold in Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana. When Levi's father asked them why they were chained, one of the men sadly replied: "They have taken us away from our wives and children, and they chain us lest we should make our escape and go back to them."1 After the group of slaves had gone, young Levi wondered to himself how he would feel if his father were taken away from him. The incident by the side of a Guilford County road marked the first stirring of Levi Coffin's sympathy for the oppressed. To represent this, I will examine how their legacies were effected and finally, I will then conclude with my final opinions on these two philosophers and the journey's they both endeavored. Although Leonardo and Machiavelli both appeared to leave Florence in unfavorable ways, one could argue that both men ultimately learned from failure. The men spent their time in a non–religious Florence in an alliance, however, they both used this in attempts to thrive on their own. Leonardo spent his time working on his art; but, more importantly he was attempting to build a canal that would lead from the Arno river to the sea. Machiavelli worked by using his political power to supervise the Florence government during this project, however, it eventually failed. In this short summary I discussed the roles that both Leonardo da Vinci and NiccolГІ Machiavelli were a part of in secular Italy, along with a brief outlook on what life was like after they separated. In addition, this black and white vignette is a romantic, idyllic view of the Arno and is in contrast with the brightly coloured, sunlit scene of the following morning, which is full of life, movement and noise, as the Italians go about their daily routines and Lucy views the reality which is about to alter her world for ever. Leonardo Da Vinci created the Plan of Imola, currently recognized as the earliest map which it is possible to date, drawn in 1502 (1). It is possible that these are the first ever geometric plans of a town and it was most likely drawn for strategical reasons. Also, he created a map of Arezzo and the China Valley. He portrayed Perugia in the upper right hand corner, Arezzo in the upper left hand corner, and Siena towards the bottom of the map (1). It is claimed that it may have been part of the same campaign as the Plan of Imola. Last in the field of cartography, Leonardo Da Vinci created Arno, which were the plans for redirecting the course of the River Arno, which flows through Florence, Italy (1). This plan was supposedly created to solve conflict between Florence and Pisa through technology rather than war (2). He had precisely mapped out the project and work began in 1503, digging three new channels cut off a large bend in the river (1). Although Leonardo's plans would have been more effective, the design had to be changed due to insufficient funds for the project and the extended amount of manual labor hours that would've been needed to complete this project. As for astronomy Leonardo had one major accomplishment, that being solving the ancient phenomenon of Earthshine. Earthshine is the glow caused by sunlight reflected off the earth, especially on the darker portion of a crescent moon, which is noticeable during a crescent moon when the rest of the moon appears as well, just darker. It had been pondered about for a great amount of time until eventually, in the 16th century, Leonardo Da Vinci figured it out. In this time this was an incredible discovery to make, being that no one had ever been to the moon and looked up at the Earth nor did most people know that the Earth orbited the sun, as Copernicus' sun–centered solar system theory was not established until 1543, twenty years ... • 36. The Big Bang Theory : The Creation Of The Big Bang Theory Did you know that "it has been 50 years since two scientists found landmark evidence for the Big Bang theory?"(Kramer,2014) The Bang Theory aka BBT is the most popular explanation about the start of our universe that is widely accepted/acknowledged. The theory is that "the entire Universe is spreading apart, with distant galaxies speeding away from us in all directions. Run the clock backwards to 13.8 billion years ago, and everything in the Cosmos started out as a single point in space. In an instant, everything expanded outward from that location, forming the energy, atoms and eventually the stars and galaxies we see today." (Cain, 2013) The Big Bang Theory is possibly right because of the evidence/research backed up by it such as exploration done by Edwin Hubble, data found by both Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, and background radiation that had been found that is believed to be created by the Big Bang. In the first place, Edwin Hubble was an astronomer who found important information of the BBT. His findings originated the Big Bang Theory in the first place. ("The Big Bang Theory", n.d.) In 1929, Edwin Hubble declared that the universe was increasing and that most galaxies were moving away from us. (Redshift and Hubble's law, n.d.) This shut down Einstein's theory that the universe was static ("Hubble's Law", 2015)Also, "his theory states that the Universe must have been created in this single event which came to be known as the "Big Bang" through expanding at an ...
