When we think of an all–American family, what do we think of? To me, an all–American family consists of a mother, a father, and two children, one

When we started off, it was a beautiful day. The bright morning sun peeked over the Appalachian mountains to bid us farewell as we packed our

Finally, the day of our first game had arrived. All of us had butterflies in our stomachs. It was the type of feeling you get when you know you are
well prepared for something, but you inexplicably still feel nervous. As soon as the ball was kicked first, all of the anxious feelings I had melted
away and the game became quite fun. Just as the prior years, the first game had the easiest opponent to beat and my team and I had no problem
securing a victory against them. The second game was a bit more of a challenge, but defeating that team was nothing we were not prepared for. The
true challenge came in the third and championship game. Although we enjoyed a bye game due to our two previous victories, the other team had the
advantage of some truly God–gifted athletes. In particular, number seven was a beast of a thirteen–year–old. He stood at an impressive six feet tall and
he towered over us on every snap. During the first drive, we had marched the ball down the field slowly but surely and on the four–yard line we
fumbled. Of course, number seven picked up the ball and ran it back for a touchdown. At halftime, our coach sat us down and had a long talk with us.
Even though we were discouraged by their touchdown, we picked ourselves up and started scoring. We scored two rushing touchdowns in the third

The Swain Community Hospital has been a great pleasure and help to me ever since I found them on Google Maps. They have also done everything

April 30: Today was the first day we spent at the world's most visited national park, The Great Smoky Mountains. We got here at 7:00 AM. The
Great Smoky Mountains are located between North Carolina and Tennessee. According to my research that I did before we came, The Great

The landscape of the trail was beautiful as it was along along a mountainside with thick and dense foliage and lots of wildlife. Not to mention the
picturesque view of the surrounding mountains covered in lush green forests. Mainly to my 10 year old self I thought the hike was relatively

Day 1: I have arrived in Gatlinburg, Tennessee to help victims of the tragedies that have occurred during the lethal fires spreading throughout the Great
Smokey Mountains. The team and I have brought water supplies to last until our last day, along with food and other snacks. So far, we have not yet
discovered what started these fires. Our team has decided to put non injured victims into a hotel until finding them a new shelter. 14,000 residents were

A humanitarian cause that I am interested in is Make–A–Wish
My friend Rebecca almost died several times in her life. Children like her need the motivation to help fight for their lives. The Make–A–Wish program
motivates children by granting wishes to those children who suffer from a deadly disease like my friend, Rebecca. Rebecca was born with two
deadly diseases; Spina Bifida, and Turner's Syndrome. Spina Bifida is a disease where a baby has a hole in his/her spine. Turner's Syndrome causes

Rebecca's sister–in–law stated Rebecca was again seriously ill. Offering Rebecca a wish, Make–A–Wish bestowed it, and the family accepted the wish
to give Rebecca a goal to motivate her to recuperate and leave the hospital. Make–A–Wish began in the 1980's, and grants kids' wishes every 35

This was better than any other park that I had been to. They had everything from the highest, longest and dangerous rides you could think of.
Parents and kids were wearing shorts, tank tops and sandals. Everyone was sizzling red with sunburns and were roasting like hot dogs on a grill.
