TASK 1
CREATE A TASK USING A WEB TOOL.
TITLE OF THE TASK: Art exhibition (a collaborative Project)
AIM OF THE TASK:
Students will have to edit and publish in the network audio content (postcasts) that,
disseminated by QR code and captured by mobile devices, allow school visitors (teachers,
parents, other students,…) to access a guided tour made by the students themselves. In this
guided tour, artists and works are explored from the perspective of the basic elements of art.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK:
1) Organization through a Project canva: the students make groups of three. Each group
choose one artist/artwork and is given a Project canva worksheet to organize
themselves: time, roles, tasks, and so on. This document allows for modifications
throughout the Project. The expected outcomes and assessment criteria are previously
explained.
2) Making and hosting a podcast: the whole group redact the podcast, correct the
mistakes, practise it in high voice before recording, and record it with Audacity. Then,
they edit the podcast using background music or special effects. After, students upload
the podcast to the blog. Eventually they create a QR code with I-Nigma and save the
QR picture.
3) Communication of the final product: the group hangs on a exhibition wall a poster
with pictures of the artist/artwork, a presentation label (title of the work, author,
technique, ...) and the QR from step 2. An explanatory panel at the beginning of the
exhibition shows visitors how the visit is planned and how to download the QR reader
to access the contents.
4) Assessment of work: the students submitt a written memory through the Campus. To
do it they have the help of the Canvas Project. They have to include the final QR with
the postcast and a picture of the poster.
