Success is something that all people strive for daily! However, as a brand, company or service provider, there are things that you can do to maximize your potential for success!

5. ASSESS CURRENT STRATEGIES
AND PROCEDURES
Do a current asset (non-
financial), strategies and
procedures assessment to see
what is working, what can be
improved and what can be
removed. I always recommend
Assessing strategies and plan at
a 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent
completion rate in order to
ensure that all strategies are
working for the betterment of
the brand and not against it. By
removing strategies and tactics
that are not working, you are
regaining time, resources and
effort that can now be placed
towards something else.
6. ASSESS/IMPLEMENT COST
CUTTING &PROFIT GROWING
Many people assume that
something that cost a lot has to
be amazing...not true! Assess the
cost and effectiveness of all
efforts. Eliminate those cost that
are not creating the
opportunities or expected.
Expensive mistakes of the past
have no room in your profit
growing future.
7. SET REALISTIC AND SPECIFIC
GOALS
Aim high with realistic and
measurable goals. Being able to
gauge your goals and your progress
will aid in the completion of the
goals in a timely manner. By not
being able to determine how far
along you have come in regards to
your goals, you are more prone to
quit and not complete the project,
strategy or goal. I recommend
completing an action plan at the
beginning of every major campaign,
goal or project (save and print this
simple Action Plan to use). By
breaking down a project into
smaller, realistic, specific goals, you
are less likely to get overwhelmed by
the daunting tasks and idea of the
8. REFINE/BOOST OFFERINGS,
SERVICES AND/OR PRODUCTS
There is nothing permanent but
change -Heraclitus.
Your demographic, expertise and
industry change daily. Maintain a
solid, stable and secure footing with
your market and in your industry by
refining and boosting your service
menu, offering and/or products. By
tailoring your offerings in a way that
create a demand or need within your
market, you will be able to retain
your current market segment,
penetrate other markets and remain
(or become) a relevant competitor!
9. REFINE/ BOOST MARKETING
CAMPAIGN(S)
There are new platforms being
developed daily. Stay in the
know and up-to-date on all
relevant platforms, venues,
mediums and channels that show
great potential for your market
and industry. Continuous
research (I recommend quarterly
at a minimum) on your market
and their behavior will show you
ways to boost your campaigns,
efforts and causes to support
and get involved in, as well as
any efforts that may not be
working any longer! Research
10. Success is a process and is not final! Finding ways to create new
opportunities, thrive on current opportunities and maintaining or
increasing your current value in your consumers' minds will,
undoubtedly, maximize your potential for success!
