Your Task:

Create a drawing of a two bedroom house.
Your house must include a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Any additional rooms are
         optional.
You must include the measurements of the room on the drawing – MEASUREMENTS MUST BE EXACT! You
must also include the measurement that they are in real life if you were to build the house – they must be
         to scale!!!
You must fill out the chart and hand it in by the due date listed below
You must then create a 3-D model of the house. The house is not to be as small as the drawing, but must
not be as big as the actual house. Using scale factor, you must create a model that is a little larger than the
         drawing.
In each room you must have the following furniture:
o Kitchen – table and two chairs
o Living room – couch, chair, TV
o Bathroom – toilet, bathtub, sink
              o Bedrooms – bed, dresser
Any additional items – windows, doors, etc will be considered extra credit
All pieces must be created to scale.
You must include all of the math to show how you created the size model that you created.
You must also fill out the enclosed chart for the different figures that you used.
Using your creativity, put all of these figures into a creative “masterpiece”
The Timeline of Due Dates:
February1, 2013The drawing of the house
February 28, 2013The chart of the math that shows the scale between the drawing and the actual model.
         February 28, 2013 The 3-D model

See the rubric on the other side of this paper to see what is expected and what you will be graded on. This
project will count as two test grades!!! Do NOT wait until the last minute to start this project!
