Under the customary tribal law existing in
Arabia before the rise of Islam, women, as
a general rule, had virtually no legal status;
fathers sold their daughters into marriage
for a price, the husband could terminate the
union at will, and women had little or no
property or succession rights.

10. ‘Your Heaven lies under the feet of your mother (Ahmad, Nasai)’
Islam has a higher level of respect toward a ‘mother’
The mother has the greater responsibility and the greater
reward in bringing up her children accordingly .
There is a
saying:
“ No love can matched to a
mother’s love”
11. A daughter is a great bounty and an honour
granted by Allah, Imaam Al-Hasan said:
“Girls are a source of reward and sons
are a blessing; rewards are in one's favoure
(on the Day of Judgment) whereas one will be
held accountable for blessings.”
12. ‘ It is incumbent upon every man and every woman
to seek knowledge ,even if you have to go
as for as China’
13. ‘Give me good mothers and I will give you a good nation ‘

15. 1.The history of Muslims is rich with women of great
achievements in all walks of life from as early as the
seventh century (B.C.)
2.It is impossible for anyone to justify any
mistreatment of woman by any decree of rule
embodied in the Islamic Law, nor could anyone dare
to cancel, reduce, or distort the clear-cut legal rights
of women given in Islamic Law.
3.Throughout history, the reputation, chastity and
maternal role of Muslim women were objects of
admiration by impartial observers.
•"As women achieve power, the barriers will fall. ...
•"Girls are capable of doing everything men are
capable of doing. ...
•"Technique and ability alone do not get you to the
top; it is the willpower that is most important." —
