Discussion Questions:
1. What was your experience on the institutional arrangement and
support for the NAP process? Please share your successful
experiences as well as the failure ones.
2. What do you think the most effective institutional arrangement for
the NAP at the national level is?
 Adaptation cannot be approached as a one-size-fits-all. Each
country has different risks, socio-economic situations and development
goals; and priorities must be set due to the restrictions imposed by
funding and other constraints, requiring individual entry points and
forms of mainstreaming adaptation.
 Same for institutional arrangements
3. What kinds of support are necessary for the NAP process? What
kinds of support from domestic and/or international are helpful for the
NAP process?
