3D printing is a metal addition process that reduces metal waste. It uses 3D printing machines that read machining codes like CNC machines to manufacture parts based on drawings. The drawing is fed into CURA software which generates machining codes to 3D print the product using an interfaced 3D printer.

3D Printing is a metal addition process. In current scenario the metal
wastageto be reduced so industries are started using 3D printing .
It was said by the trainer 3D Printing is done by 3D Printing machine
which uses the machining codes similarly used in CNC.
He also added that for manufacturing using 3D Printing first step is to be
drawing of the part which is to manufactured.
It was instructed that the part diagram is to be saved and fed into the
CURA Software.
It was seen by us in CURA Software by interfacing their printer and the
part diagram the software it generates machining codes by using this codes
the product is manufactured.
