2. TALOFA LAVA (hello to you) and welcome to
PACFOLD learn
As a regional virtual center for the Pacific, PACFOLD learn is for all Pacific Islanders
and friends of the Pacific region to meet online and collaborate, share, and build
upon ideas and concepts.
The aim is to create new knowledge for the Pacific context on how to effectively use
Open Distance and Flexible Learning to increase access to affordable quality
education.

After logging into your PACFOLD
learn account, you will see your
Profile page like this one.
Here you can add a photo and
cover photo, see your activity
feed, and information from any
groups that you joined.
4. 1. HORIZONTAL Menu - is the
horizontal blue bar, click on
any tab from ‘About’ to ‘Log
Out’ to visit a page of
interest.
2. GROUPS Menu - The groups
menu is the vertical bar on
the right of your screen.
You can also access
Groups from the Horizontal
Menu. The Groups page is
the main discussion area for
all community members.
There are 9 Groups on
PACFOLD learn that you
can join. Simply select the
group and click join.

5. Groups: There are 2 ways you can contribute
1. You can post a short
comment in the “What’s
new ….” textbox as in the
example on the right.
You can tag another
member in a comment by
using @name that you find
on their profile page.
6. Group Forums
2. Click on Forum to find
discussion topics relevant to the
group.
You will see current discussion
forums, which you may click and
join. Please check out the
introduction or welcome forum and
introduce yourself to the group.
This helps group members to get
to know each other.
7. Group Forum: Creating a
new discussion topic
If you want to start your own
discussion topic, scroll to the
bottom of the page. You will find
text boxes where you can begin
your own FORUM … and you are
on your way
