7. I moved to Paris and I join ed the Surrealist movement in 1929 . One of my most famous paintings is The Persistence of Memory (1931). The painting is sometimes called "Soft Watches"—it shows melting pocket watches in a landscape setting.

8. I decided to grow a moustache because it's better for the health than smoking . In 1929 I met my future wife Gala . She became my muse, lover, supporter and business manager.
