GENEVA ACTION FORUM
SEPTEMBER 25 TO OCTOBER 2, 2020
45. About the Event
● This mega-"Geneva Action" is expected to host 5,000 people.
● The Geneva’s People’s Action Forum is the occasion to all come together as we close the Campaign.
All members and partners are welcome to join and participate to activities.
● During two weeks, a People’s Parliament will be held in Geneva.
● Intended as an Agora where people will be able to speak up their concerns at the tribune, its main
objective is to find orientations for global change.
● Most of all, the debates held in the Parliament will focus on the finalisation of our 10-Points Agenda,
the advocacy platform we will present to the United-Nations Agencies.
● To allow all to participate, workshops, discussion tables and other smaller reunions will be organised.
● It will be an occasion to learn more about nonviolence, peace and alternative way of development.
With visitors from all over the globe, it will be a real opportunity to meet and share.
● The final action of the Jai Jagat 2020 Campaign will be our address to the seat of the United-Nations
in Geneva, at the end of the People’s Action Forum.
