1. Full name if shared initials in the family e.g. James Johnson & John
Johnson;
2. Current address;
3. National Insurance number clearly mentioned;
4. Know the deadline dates for paper returns;
5. Use the correct form;
6. Fill out the P11D completely, don’t post partly completed forms
because HMRC will not complete it for you, they will simply reject
it;
7. Sign and date your P11D(b). Unsigned forms will automatically be
rejected;
8. Keep a copy of all the forms.
