2. ECOLOGY AND EVOLUTION
Anthropology – the understanding of the human being
can’t be understood without going back to its root
which is the COSMOS.
Existence:
1)COSMOS – 15 billion years old
2)Anthropos – 40,000 years old
Conclusion:
The planet is not only for us. We evolved in this
planet. To understand the anthropos, we have to
start from the cosmos, that is, that we come from the
stars, the NOVA, the BIG BANG, until we become
human beings.
3. COSMOLOGY
1)There’s a BIG BANG, and there’s concentrated
energy that breaks into stars.
2)Then, there’s a lot of elements that made up
different kinds of realities including human
beings.
Conclusion:
THE HUMAN WORLD IS CREATED THROUGH
EVOLUTION.
4. So, what is the source
of all these including me
and my existence?
6. GOD’S REFLECTIONS
-Man and other creatures and
things..
- “by taking as our starting
point the perfections of man
and the other creatures
which are a reflection, albeit
a limited one of the infinite
perfection of God, we are
able to speak about God
with all people.”
(Compendium of the CCC#5)
7. So, what is His
plan for us
humans?
“God, infinitely perfect and
blessed in himself, in a plan of
sheer goodness freely created
man to make him share in his
own blessed life. In the fullness
of time, God the Father sent his
Son as the Redeemer and
Savior of mankind, fallen into
sin, thus calling all into his
Church and, through the work
of the Holy Spirit, making them
adopted children and heirs of
his eternal happiness.”
(Compendium of the CCC#1)
17. 2.) Conciliatory Compassion
-God shares the sufferings of His
people just to understand their
condition and, in effect, grants them
forgiveness.
18. 3.) Fidelity
-a mark of a covenant, i.e., the
binding relationship between Him and
humans which knows no condition.
