SwitchMed Connect 2015 is the first annual
gathering of Mediterranean entrepreneurs,
industry agents, initiatives, policy makers and
financial institutions working on productive, circular
and sharing economies.
It is an EC funded event which is organised by
SCP/RAC in collaboration with the UN Industrial
Development Organization (UNIDO) and the UN
Environment Programme (UNEP).
The conference (www.switchmedconnect.com) will
gather stakeholders from Mediterranean countries
in Europe, North Africa and Middle East and it will
cover aspects such as circular economy enablers,
upcoming policies, access to finance, open
innovation platforms, transformation of the value
chains, etc.
UKTI Barcelona, as a collaborating entity, is
looking to bring British companies interested in the
Green Business sector into the Mediterranean
market, wishing to:
Identify trends and opportunities in the
Mediterranean region
Discover the Mediterranean networks working
on productive, sharing and circular economies
Explore partnerships with leading industry
players to successfully approach those
markets or for H2020 consortia
Increase brand awareness amongst
stakeholders of the Circular Economy in
Mediterranean countries.

The conference SwitchMed Connect 2015 www.switchmedconnect.com will
gather stakeholders from Mediterranean countries in Europe, North Africa and
Middle East and it will cover aspects such as circular economy enablers, upcoming
policies, access to finance, open innovation platforms, transformation of the value
chains, etc.
SwitchMed Connect is an EC funded event which is organised by SCP/RAC in
collaboration with the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the
UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Attendance is free of charge and you simply
need to register in their website. For their programme and registration:

The UK mission to SwitchMed Connect consists of a set of extra activities and
services organised by UKTI around the conference. These activities and
services are highlighted in bold in this programme. Participation in those
additional activities organised by UKTI is subject to an OMIS fee of £200
(excluding VAT).
