1. Embed the new Star Wars trailer into a new blog post
entitled Sounds of Star Wars
2. Give a definition of diegetic and non-diegetic sound,
with an example of each.
3. Find examples of both types of sound in the Star Wars
trailer – Explain how this affects the audience’s
understanding. Does it tell us more about the world?
Does it affect our emotions?
4. This is Not a one sentence task! 3 Paragraphs for each
type of sound – Describe the example and explain the
effect. Media language must be used!
