The Climate in Mexico varies.
Along the coast it is hot and humid,
unbearably so in the summer.
Inland communities at higher
elevations such as Guadalajara and
in particular close-by Lake
Chapala, are much dryer.

Mexico City is Mexico's capital and largest city and one of the world's major cities.
Guadalajara: Mexico's second largest city a popular tourist center, and a hub of
transportation.
Monterrey: is an important industrial center and the chief city of northern
Mexico.
Puebla (Puebla de Zaragoza): once known primarily for its textiles, now produces
automobiles, petrochemicals, and iron and steel.
León: is an industrial city of central Mexico and the heart of the country's shoe
production.
Ciudad Juarez: situated on the Rio Grande, and Tijuana, in northern Baja California,
are both commercial cities with large tourist industries.
Mexicali: is the capital of the state of Baja California Norte.
Acapulco: a famed resort city, is situated on the Pacific coast of southern Mexico.
Veracruz :is Mexico's chief port on the Gulf of Mexico

From 1519, the Spaniards absorbed the native peoples
into Spain's vast colonial empire, and fused Mexico's
long-established Mesoamerican civilizations with
European culture.
