2012 involved in Teaching Teachers for the Future
(TTF) project.
“The Teaching Teachers for the Future (TTF)
project is aimed at enabling all pre-service
teachers at early, middle and senior levels to
become proficient in the use of ICT in
education.” (TTF website)
One of the resources coming out of the project –
ICT Statements aligned to Teacher Standards for
Graduate Teachers.
11. Great way to use Mahara – capture
evidence for Teacher Standards
16. Limitations
Not able to submit a collection as an assignment
Student able to change Google Doc / Spreadsheet
content after submission of assignment to Mahara.
Way around this is to provide submission spot for
Mahara page and another one to upload the
Google Doc / Spreadsheet.
Would be good to have a solution for this –
perhaps a snapshot?
17. Advantages
Group eportfolio collaboration and submission
Use Google Apps as storage for Mahara
Single sign on access to content wherever situated
– in Google Apps, Mahara, Moodle or Alfresco.
Can access assignments anywhere if using
Google Docs/Drive
