As a JCR Co-ordinator, I supported various operations and
campaign programs relating to Reading University Student
Union, the Junior Common Room (JCR) committees and the
Governing Trustee board at Reading University. As part of my
role, not only did I provide them with administrative, financial
and development support, but I also assisted on matters of
policy and governance. In addition, I worked to raise the profile
of the Union by planning and executing a series of workshops
and events, as well as engaging with corporate partners. I also
held financial obligations that included: overseeing an annual
budget of £200,000, processing invoices, expenses and other
related costs.
2011-2013
Programme Coordinator
I provided extensive administrative and budgetary support for a
series of complex undergraduate / postgraduate programmes
and committees through the use of statistical data, financial
reports and policy advice. Furthermore, I coordinated and
promoted a series of workshops and events for prospective and
current students, and also developed associated materials and

2. HR & Financial Administrator
I interpreted financial evidence and data to present complex
information and analysis through concise, digestible reports that
directly supported the public payroll department. Furthermore,
I was involved in reconciling accountancy queries and ensured
the accurate entry of reports onto the council’s database. Finally,
I maintained HR data, researched and collected information on
appropriate training opportunities and carried out recruitment
administration.
