• Draw up and publish budgetary estimates subject for approval by the Union council in consultation

• Receiving cash payments from incomes earned from Union projects through the treasurer.
• Making cash payments to other Union Secretariats after approval of requisitions.
• Tracking down accountability of expenditures and incomes of the Union.
• Publishing a comprehensive financial statement at least twice a semester to the Union Assembly.
• Making an annual audit report that was presented to the internal auditor of the University.

Collecting secondary data from the Annual Budget Performance reports about physical and financial
performance indicators of the Agricultural sector.
• Making summary extracts from the different Auditor General’s reports that were to be used for later
analysis.
• Data entry of registration records and updating of major data bases of the organization.
• Offering administrative support such as writing requisitions and bids analysis, receiving cheques from
donors/partners, filing and records management.
