This document outlines the rapid iteration process of a nutrition startup from May 2018 to June 2019. It began with an initial prototype in May-June 2018 tracking ingredient names on Twitter. Over subsequent months, it improved data collection and moved to Google Colab for coding while storing data in Google Sheets. In January 2019, it collected USDA nutrition data and stored it in MongoDB. It then pivoted its business model to a SaaS product in March 2019. The process involved frequent refinement of its AI model and exploratory testing in Jupyter notebooks. It demonstrated a beta product portal in May 2019 after joining an accelerator program.
