Abstract: MongoDB has always offered application developers a flexible schema. In this talk, I will provide an overview of MongoDB's implementation of JSON Schema, an industry standard for data validation. I will also outline how teams can introduce JSON schema validation at just the right time in the lifecycle of their applications, balancing the benefits of developer productivity with requirements for strict schema enforcement.
