For each shift we will need to hire 4 persons for the front desk and 2
for the child care center.

MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
Good morning my name is Masuda and today I will give you a presentation on information system at the health and wellness center.
The information system will require an aquatic center, spa, small shopping center, a café, exercise center with an indoor track, a child care center, and a sauna.
The next set of requirements for the health and wellness center are: a secured child care center so parents could be assured their child will not wonder off so they could enjoy their time at the center, a time clock to keep track of employee attendance and meal breaks, last but not least monitors networked into the system so that the entire center is being watched at all times to reduce any chance of abduction or potential dangers.
In order to have the center run smoothly we will have daily stand-up meetings to ensure the center runs well and any concerns members and staff report are addressed in a timely manner, the center will make sure all employees return promptly from meal breaks by using the time clock, and having employees talk to members to help them understand our policy and procedures and how this may affect him or her.
In order to reach the centers goals, Employees will take no longer than 30 minute meal breaks. All members and staff are up-to-date with the centers policies. Members will understand the benefits they receive with their membership plan. Members will be made aware of when they have to pay their monthly membership fee and charges that will incur if payments are received late
We will need proper hardware for the center to operate. I have made a table to display the necessary pieces of equipment and how of each we will need. For example, for the child care center to be secure, we will supply a special wrist band that will monitor the kids and ensure they do not leave the premises.
I have taken the ELO touch screen kiosk and broken it down into the HOW IT WORKS perspective. The member will slide their personal id card into the slot then the device will be linked to that member, and after he/she have been identified they will be able to view all their activities linked to their card.
In order for the hardware to operate we will need software that supports the devices. In this table, I have listed all the important softwares needed.
To keep track of employee time in and out, we will install the IBM Business Management Software. When the employee comes in for their scheduled shift, they must swipe their ID card in the time clock device, and the employees hours will be gathered and automatically updated to the HR files for the employee payroll.
The center will have 2 eight hour shifts which consists a 6am-2pm shift and a 2pm-10pm shift. For each shift we will need g persons to manage the front desk area, café and store. We will need 2 persons for the child care center and 2 persons for maintenance.
Employees hired for the child care center need to have certification and on the job training for 2 weeks. All other employees are to attend a 2 week classroom session prior to first day of work and a week of on the job training.
