2.  Welcome to our blog. We use it to share the
things we are learning about in class with our
families and with others around the world.
Getting feedback is important to our writers.

3. It’s very important that we understand how
to use the blog, and the internet, in a safe
way, so we’ve come up with a set of rules for
safe blogging:

4. • Only use your first name.
• Make sure an adult checks your post.
• Don’t include any info about you or your
family, eg, address.
• You won’t be named in any photos.

5. • Comments will be checked by an adult
before they are put on the blog.
• Adults who leave comments are asked not to
use last names either. Please post comments
as “John’s Mum” or “Sue’s Nanny”, etc.

6. • Click the ‘Comment’ link at the bottom of the post.
• Write your comment in the box. Be sure that you
have checked it! Students should have an adult
check it!
• Click on ‘Comment as’ box and choose name/url.
Write your name, eg, “John’s Mum”, in the box.
Leave the url blank.

7. • Click "Publish". You may preview your comment
before publishing if you'd like.
• You’ll need to enter the reCaptcha words to prove
you’re not a robot.
• Your comment will be published as soon as it has
been checked against our rules. Please remember,
no surnames and kind and friendly language.
