Program Design
The two-year Master’s Degree program in Political Leadership & Government (MPG) is dividedas follows:
(a) Foundation (b) Trimester - I (c) Trimester - II (d) Trimester - III
(e) Trimester - IV (f) Trimester – V (Internship 1 & 2) (g) Trimester VI (Internship 3)
All subjects in Semesters I, II and III are compulsory, irrespective of the specializations. The subjects and the syllabi
are so designed as to give understanding of the different verticals (Political Strategist, NGO, Analyst, Electoral Politics,
International Relations, Media and PR) that the students are expected to be aware of as Political Leaders.
The two-year Master’s Degree program in Political Leadership & Government (MPG) comprises of classroom lectures
and field visits including Local, State, National and International study tours.

The career opportunities in functional politics give students a platform to sustain in politics. Weat MIT
School of Government would like to see them evolve as an ethical, efficient & trained political leaders over
a longer period of time.

• Over 250 of our alumni have already occupied eminent positions in the political arena.

Infrastructure
Classrooms
The MIT-WPU School of Government is a unique institution. Therefore, the
infrastructurefor such an institution is markedly different. Classrooms are
designed to resemble the parliament with all facilities like overhead projector,
broadband, cable networketc.
Library
The library has books on politics, disaster management, social sciences,
biographies, turn-around stories etc. It subscribes to over 50 national and
international journals/magazines. It has a collection of CDs audio/visual
cassettes and a projection system. Besides this, MIT-SOG students have an access
to central MIT-WPU library.
Canteen
A full-fledged canteen serving multi-cuisine, nutritious vegetarian food is
available for the participants at the Campus.
Sports
The campus has facilities for indoor and outdoor games. A fully equipped
gymnasium is available for regular workout.

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate from any recognized university and those
appearing for final year examinations can apply.
Selection Procedure:
The selection process for MPG-16 comprises of a
descriptive written test followed by a detailed personal
interview.
Course Fee:
Total Course Fee, Rs. 3,00,000/- per student (payable in
installments). *Scholarships up to 100% tuition fee for
deserving meritorious students.
