2. Customers
Our customers will be students and schools.
Initially, it will be the students in our school and our
HeadTeacher.
Mr Plumb has already said he wants an app like this
for our school, so he can be our first customer.
Our school is an ‘Exceptional’ and ‘Outstanding’
school. It is on the PiXL network so it has links with
load of other schools.
We are on the Network of Excellence for
Computing, so we can ask them and the BCS to be
our partners.
3. Development
In future years, our App could grow so that it is purchased
by ALL students in ALL schools (approx 20,00)
Then it could be marketed around the world to other
schools.
Google supports the BSC so we could ask them to also help
market it for us.
We would charge a small price for the App 50p, so everyone
could afford it.
We would keep some of the profits, but then invest the rest
in charities to promote Computer Science in schools.
We would also donate money for laptops in developing
countries (if we made a lot of money).
