2. Hammer Film Production
Hammer Films is a film production based in the United Kingdom. It was
founded in 1934, the company is a famous film production especially in
producing Horror. Hammer took over the Horror market, whilst enjoying
world wide distribution, which led to financial success. An example of a film
produced by Hammer is ‘ The Woman in Black’. The Woman in Black
earned $20 million. The biggest US opening for a Hammer Film in the
Hammer history. It earned $11-16.5 million than industry analysts predicted.
The film also became the higher-grossing British horror film in 20 years.
Hammer film Productions have had experience in the Horror market. This
means that they would know how to promote my production in the right
way. A famous distributor may be highly appropriate, especially for
teenagers to young adults as it would catch their attention more than elders
for example. This benefits us as they are our main target audience.
Hammer Production have a partnership with Warner Bros, as both have
been very successfully financially. This success could lead into providing
our company with an A-list actor, A-list equipment and A-list publicity from
their high reputation.

3. Internet
The internet is another option of where our production could be
released this is because the Internet very popular these days and
is being used worldwide. Websites such as YouTube and Netflix
are good platform to get our production recognized. People such
as Justin Bieber who became a successful musician was first
found on YouTube. Also a man called Ridley Scott was
discovered over YouTube by him posting a short movie which
caught the eyes of many viewers. He later became a famous film
director and producer.
Reasons for our production to be released on the internet is that
you can watch it in mobile not just at home on the computer. This
can benefit for our target audience because they are a very active
and outgoing age.

4. Cinema
DVD
Studio production is a very common process. It
involves the production being released in the
cinemas for audiences to view, followed by a
release on DVD quite a while after and then
eventually out on television.
Before the production is released to view in
cinemas it undergoes a process where trailers
and clips are shown on the internet for example
YouTube. This is to attract a wider audience.

5. Merchandise
A soundtrack of the music played in our
production could be released as the music can
be a very memorable part of the movie. For
example Jaws.
It could be sold in stores like HMV which is a
very popular store for selling soundtracks and
DVD’s.
