has a large image of Kate Moss on it, this is because she is a well known model
who many women would recognize by looking at the advert.

The colours are fairly dark on the advert, which gives a mysterious tone to it. They
are also the traditional rimmel colours that the logo itself uses.
Liquorice could be associated to this advert because its striped, especially the
blackjack sweets.
5. Coca Cola
This advert doesn’t have a specific target audience, as coca cola is drinking by
all ages and both genders.
The advert has an all red background, which is striking to readers then making
it more prone to be looked at. The font is white which stands out from the red
background and certain words are in block capitals to show emphasis on them.
This advert would be attracted by Succeeders (A person who wants products
that increase their power and control in life).
The original coca cola colour is red, and therefore the advert is mainly red. The
logo is printed 3 times on it, this is so it sticks in people’s heads and they are
then able to recognise it.
7. Calvin Klein
This advert could be directed at young couples, but also either just young
men or women. It has both a man and a woman on it, which shows the
reader that its not just targeted at one gender.
This advert would be attracted by Aspirers (A person who wants products
which improve their image and are fashionable). As the advert suggests that
wearing the fragrance makes you look more attractive.
As the advert has many different shades of blue within it, you are able to
relate it to water (the ocean) or the sky. Also, blue is usually associated with
mint, and therefore it looks fresh and cool.
