2. ANALYZETHE LEARNER
My classroom is an 11th grade class with 22 total students. There are 15 girls and 7
boys. Two students in my classroom are African American and one in Japanese.
3. MAIN OBJECTIVE
My students will exhibit the proper way to perform CPR, use an AED, help
someone who is choking, and how to perform the Heimlich maneuver by
watching and making their own CPR videos, listening to podcasts, looking at
posters, using various types of social media, and participating in hands-on
activities by the end of the week with 95 percent accuracy.
4. DAY BY DAY BREAKDOWN
Monday – CPR introduction using a PowerPoint,YouTube videos, the Red Cross
website, and a poster
Tuesday – Learning the correct way to perform CPR on an adult using Red Cross
website,YouTube video, and Facebook.
Wednesday – Learning the correct way to perform CPR on a child using Red Cross
website,Twitter and Zello.
Thursday – Cover AED using digital imaging, podcast, and a blog.
Friday – make CPR video to show what students have learned by using 21st
century skills, wiki, and arts and bots.
