6. Brunelleschi’s dome It’s probably the most famous dome in the world. Is one of the masterpieces of Gothic art, with an innovative sistem of pulleys. The original dome was built of wood, and it was remplaced by the stone one in 1436. It was designed by Brunelleschi.
