Challenge How to make sure that field workers can access, ad and share information in
even the most harsh environment
Project Make sure field workers with no internet access still have access to important
information for. The webpage/Oops-key is under constant development and the
task here is to see how this tool can be improved; as a visionary concept with a
long term perspective (Oops-key 2.0) as well as in a direct and concrete way that
will help logisticians in their everyday work already in a near future.

Challenge Retrofit and reuse by connection!
Project The aim of this project is to combine useful everyday objects with digital
technology that links them to peoples’ mobile devices. In the Retrofit project you
will build tools for communities that share objects such as cars, laundry rooms or
buildings.
You will use various sensors and the latest mobile technology from BlackBerry to
prototype, design and develop tools for collaborative consumption.
Why If you are interested in mashing up today’s cutting edge technology with old stuff,

the most beneficial use cases and how can this be used in an intuitive and
seamless way?

exciting. At Sony Mobile research, one area that stands out is device intelligence,
ie making devices behave in a more intelligent way, becoming fully functional
personalized smart assistants.

Project To develop a prototype for a new tool that can be used on a smartphone or other
platform, that make it easy and engaging for people to identify and record
information about equipment "found" some where in the world.
Why This is a project that can help companies and organizations to save energy and
the environment by improving the efficiency of equipment that might not be
maintained in an optimum way today. It is possible to adapt in a global market in
many different markets.
