reasons are internal, they come from
with you not driven by other people or
by an end result or outcome
Ex. independence, stability

5.  Refers to the behavior of individuals to
perform tasks because of external rewards
or avoidance of punishment
 Deciding to do something because you are
told you have to do it by someone else.
 Ex. Money, rewards, good grades
