Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
US Assure "Welcome Change" Presentation
1.
2. Who is US Assure?
• Privately held business established in 1977 as a wholesale
agent administering, distributing, and marketing
commercial property and casualty insurance programs
• Formerly Zurich Insurance Services
• Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida
• Leading program administrator and insurance services
provider
• 35 years of experience in the property and casualty
industry
• Exclusive program administrator for the Builders Risk Plan
underwritten by Zurich and other programs
3. What’s changing?
1. Introduction of direct billing for several of our
products, including:
– Builders Risk Plan (not including Reporting Forms)
– Contractors Equipment
– Specialty Auto
2. Streamlined electronic delivery of your agency account
summary and commission statements
3. Online agency portal for viewing of policy billing activity for
our direct bill products
4. How does it affect me?
1. Your customers will receive and pay premium invoices
directly with US Assure for our direct bill products:
– Builders Risk Plan (not including Reporting Forms)
– Contractors Equipment
– Specialty Auto
2. All other policy servicing and transactions will remain the
same, with you continuing to maintain direct relationships
with your customers
3. Your agency will no longer receive account summary and
commission statements in the mail – they will be generated
electronically and delivered through our new online
agency portal
5. How does it benefit me?
1. Direct billing allows you to focus on what is most important to you
— sales and customer relationships
2. Your agency will now be able to accomplish a range of tasks
online such as:
– Retrieving account summary and commission statements
– Viewing policy billing transaction details
– Receiving commission payments via electronic deposits (if desired)
3. Streamlined commission payments – Commission payments will be
paid to your agency on a monthly basis, when appropriate. Your
agency may elect to receive commission payments via Electronic
Funds Transfer (EFT) instead of by check, if desired.
6. When will this happen?
This exciting change will occur late in
the second quarter of 2013.
7. Can I see samples?
Yes.
We will provide samples of items like premium invoices
and account summary and commission statements.
These samples will be available at change.usassure.com
in early May.
8. Can I receive training?
Yes.
We are producing an in-depth tutorial, which we will
post to change.usassure.com when it is complete.
Your agency will also be invited to participate in a
webinar to be held prior to the change date.
9. Why is US Assure making this change?
We want to make it as easy as possible to do business
with us and are continually evolving to deliver more
value to you.
This change is part of our mission to provide you the
infrastructure, systems and technologies you need to
build and enhance customer relationships.
